I was impressed with the stealth, I borrowed this same machine of a buddy and i can honestly say i will never buy a coil machine again, unless its a collectors item to display. I love it. no need to scare people with the coils noise. this thing is super quiet and i get alot of compliments on how much bettter it feels and heal time is way faster. Voltage deff depends on skin type, darker skin i use low volts to keep from puffing up and lighter skin is a breeze. 5 STARS!
Maybe it's a dumb question, but isn't 8,7 voltage a bit high for color and shading? I'm not a tattoo artist, but i think i've heard somewhere that when you use a liner, the voltage should be on aprox. 6,5volt and when you shade it should run lighter than that in aprox. 4-5 volt ?
@JazzieProd ... reasonable question ... and it all depends on the machine your using, the job your doing and the type of skin ... it is all relative and the point really is being able to adjust to the different situations instead of having a one size fits all answer.
Its hard to take anyone seriously who still calls a machine a "gun". Same ding dongs that named the swashdrive knockoff a "jackhammer", no doubt. Poorly thought out name, as is "gun". Check out Ryan Hadley's work with a NeoTat. It has no give. If you know when to stop saturating, you're fine. Plus the consistent velocity is what allows for layering, much like pneumatic machines. Gen 7 Swashdrives have give, by the way.
To much blood , too deep or the machine is drilling with no give which those machines happen to not have , give, it just hits way to hard even on a low volts, no friction with the skin, with cause more trauma
@Headshothorror4488 ... not quite sure on where you get the idea that the machine has no give .. maybe thats the case with a knock off but with the latest evolution of these machines they have a thing called a "give clip" .. so clearly it would suggest the originals have give.
@SwashdriveTattoo never mind this dick head he is a troll who pretends to know shit , he has no clue what he is saying . he has never used your machine and needs to shut his mouth , you should block him , i guarantee he will keep making stupid comments . nice machines BTW .
@SwashdriveTattoo its ok man this kids goes around to all the tatt vids and talks shit hes not an artist he claims to be keeps talking about all the grate masters that he chats with and that he has many years under his belt you should know by now that tattoo artists are mostly cocky dumb asses like this guy i wish it were different any way good on ya for this machine im interested in it might check it out cant help it ima diehard coil guy lol
you go dude , dont worry about these clowns bagging the swash drive , its clear to me that u love it and thats what counts. I have one and i think its the best thing i have used yet.We have to grasp technology and go with whats better, and stop living in the past.
Nice try EntityStolen or pokercheats08 or what ever you want to call yourself. Maybe you're the one dreaming about being a pro because a real pro wouldn't post the drivel you have. Would you like to talk about this in Sydney? P.S. You're spelling and grammar is still tragic.
Jesus... Neddlebarblues seems a bit up set. You ok? need a hug? it'll be ok mate... HAH! what a wanka! Any one else getting the arse sucker immpression?? Dude you get credibility by entering tattoo shows, conventions and magazines. proving what your worth. not by posting crap thinking your the man... . this is just another free lesson for back yarders.. SUPER sad to see. Start pushing that common sence button.
It's a sad day when someone like pokercheats08 infects the tattoo community (and You Tube) with pitiful comments that truly reflect his lack of ethics and respect for others, not to mention his appalling grasp of spelling and grammar. He is using You Tube to flog burnt copies of a Nikko Hurtado DVD and the website he directs you to has been suspended. (I wonder why?) Grow some balls and post some of your own work on YouTube or its credibility zero for you pokercheats08.
I've seen this guy work, he's very fast and the tribal black is always solid and without patchiness.. I don't think the ink is pulling back up and I'm not quite why you think it is. Either way, the end result is always extremely solid. One other point... he shades in close to the outline with a large needle group then blocks out the fine gap with a spread 5 or 7. The job is much faster that and you don't have to try shading right up to the outline with a mag (which can be a challenge)
