Just FYI the two gauges on the end are 52mm Performance series Blue/White and the center gauge is Narrow band AFR digital 216AFLED-Blue.

Performance series gauges sweep only one on start up.

we actually got rid of them for some autometer mechanical gauges, the base line electronic gauges are a little bit slow.

@denmah It's been 10 months since you responded but if you remember...were you saying that the PROSPORT gauges are hard to see in the sun light? They appear to be very bright and vivid OR were you talking about the Autometer gauges?

@helloman1976 with direct sunlight on the gauges, they are hard to see. would be easily fixed with a better location for the gauge, or using a cup with the brim that blocks direct sunlight

Those guys are stupid racist virgins. Yes they are illegal because they are a driver distraction due to heavy illumination. That's why it's illegal to have bright neons inside the cab in front of you, and that's also why your stock cluster gauges aren't so bright either. Take into account DVD players in place of radios. So long as they are used for Radio or Navigation, they are legal but for DVD viewing, they're not, at least while you're driving.

Yes, driver distraction. I know because I was pulled over for my pillars that were bright blue and I had to have them removed. What makes them a distraction is the light, it's bright as shit. Why do you think the stock gauges in most cars aren't so bright you retard? And when they are, why do you think they are shielded from windshield reflection? Why do you think it's against the law to install bright neons under your dash in view of the windshield? Grow a dick and a brain you mindless cunt.

It really depends on what state you live in. I know California has some really strict driving laws so I wouldn't be surprised if these were illegal, but it wouldn't be due to the brightness. Check your local laws.
