A decent episode overall. Of course, man is both soul and body, but nothing about the N'tal's "process" really changes that. Aside from that, I really only had two issues with the episode; one being the vague sentiments expressed near the end, and the other the words of anger said by Cadmus midway through. His words betrayed a lack of understanding of the difference between man and animal. Still, everyone slips up when they're angry, from time to time.
This is a classic Outer Limits - it is a model human ideals. The failure of both right wing American and democratic politicians are those that stand against us achieving this.
My interpretation of it is: The N'Tal did not want eternal life; they wanted to produce the next generation, get out of the body, and die. Thats all they wanted: Get into another body, reproduce, then die off.
@supleted It's a front to divert attention from the thought that the N'Tal can actually possess living humans and are planning to do so on a massive scale.
