@ckarlos14 and @tcmax4life i was thinking the same thing! my neck will get like that after a week of not shaving, then my wife has to go in and dig out the hairs underneath the bumps. painful (for me at least). after that i'll be ok until i get lazy, not shave and then it's back to digging again, lol. i use razors, but not everyday. i shave every other day, for me it seems to keep the hair from growing to long and curling under to make the bumps. maybe this tip will help anybody with bumps :)

how do you get rid of the fine thing hair next to your sideburns very few guys have it, its basically at your high cheek bone level? If i use a razor to shave it traditionally than more hair will grow. Do you use a trimmer if so what kind. Do you recommend going against the grain in that area?

They never use straight razors these days, like in the video it's a shavette.

Shavettes uses disposible blades, they are admittedly easier to maintain for a barber. A real straight razor needs to be honed and stropped. It needs to rest between shaves, and you also need to disinfect the blade between customers. I recently gone over to use a straight myself, and the shaves i get now are the best i ever had. Plus it's actually fun to shave, the maintenance just adds to the experience for me.

But they have to follow rigid health protocols which is too much of a pain in the ass for the well trafficed places to bother with. There's one place in Ireland that i know of, and here in Sweden that uses the old straights. Other than that it's just shavettes all around.
