4 year relationship here cant seem to leave him i cant tell if this is love and we can make it work or if i just feel safe and dont want to go through a change im 22 btw and have been with him for 4 years
@oXxSuperNovaxXo think up the ideal partner. if your guy or girl doesn't fit that and never will then your settling, or if you ask your self "if it was possible to have that ideal partner would i stay in the relationship im in?" if you would not stay then your settling and trying to feel safe because you would leave if you knew it was in your future. But that's what life's about, taking risks, luckily finding your partner isn't as bad as you think though.
We have both tried to commit to the thought that we could transcend ourselves to make the relationship work, but it hasn't really changed in two years. I kinda feel unsatisfied! We have been living on hope all the time :\
To make a decision I go by my logic rather than my intuition. In my situation, I think it's logical that there has been a little bit too many fights, violence, cheating, financial and health problems, betrayal, questioning in our 2 year relationship for it to be "the right one". Huge attachment and desire to make it work is what keeps us together. But is that enough?
