I have an RC helicopter, and it crashed in the pool. I got it out, but is there any way in can save it? The lights still work fine. I dried it with a blow-dryer.
Hi, thanks for watching. Well, I'm no expert, but I think if the copter is dried thoroughly, then there may be a good chance the electronic components would still function. Hope for the best. BBad
In essence, my brother did nothing. He just took the copter home and let it dry itself out for a couple of days; then reconnect and it restarted. I think having it dried thoroughly is the key. Thanks for watching. BBad
@Boldken dunno about the choppers, but for wet phones rice works really well.. put it in a pan and coat it with rice till the engine's covered and put a lid on it for two days... all the water should be gone.. (i have not personally tried this and i will not be liable for it if it messes up) =)
Thanks for commenting. Re your query, well, actually no, because it is a dual prop system and with the propellers spinning in opposite rotations the back prop is virtually not needed. That's why my bro Barry took it off. BBad

Very good and funny video. Nice to see some humor put into the video, after all - we are all flying for fun, no?
Did the LiPo survived the diving-course? jeje Think I'lll make some pontoons for my 5g4 as well - looks cool. Thx for the inspiration :)

Nice, I'm glad Barry didn't lose the heli to the water!
Cartuner25 3 years ago
Thanks, Colin. Well, the second heli did drop into the water, but luckily Barry let it dry out thoroughly and now it still flies without any problem.
Btw, like your version of Dim Sum Girl. BBad.

Don't you need the back propeller to spin fast to maintain control.
