  • YOUR A TWAT

  • ahahaha he says hes going to have a company called elite and it'll make you want to put your miele in the cupboard !! i'll reply to this video in 20 years and see how your companys going :L

  • @mingeism And I said that when? :P Check the comments again, I think you were hallucinating.

  • I realize you are young and are basing this video on what you see, HOWEVER

Miele do state in the operating manual that different models of the canister vacuums come with one of three types of filters:

    1. Active Air Clean. (Thin Cloth Like Filter.)

    2. Active HEPA Carbon Filter (150% Cleaner Air than you breath is expelled)

    3. Active HEPA with Charcoal (Same as 2 however the Charcoal removes odors like pet smells etc.)

The model you have purchased comes with number one (1).

    MIELE ARE FANTASTIC !

  • @nsx2200 I work for Miele USA and you are 100% correct. The filter he had in his hands looked like an Active Air Clean filter (The dark charcoal side is a dead giveaway). When he says "It says it has a Hepa.." I do not believe it actually says that it has a Hepa. It does say, however, that it will accept a Hepa filter, which is the homeowners choice as to whether or not they want to purchase this additional accessory.

Bottom line is he has a great analytical mind, but his facts are a tad off.

  • ur a cool boy! i love dysons aswell, i saw ur dc16 in the vid ;p can you plz make a video or ur dc04? thanks i had a dc04 absolute purple and lime which died that was awsum tho and i got a dc04 silver lime and dc07 allergy and dc01 standard :D

  • @VacDudes It's nice to see some realy good positive comments building up.

  • @tlaroche38 yeah :)

  • Aww, how sweet, reminds me of my self when I was this age :)

  • @David5495 Cool!

  • HES 8 I WAS DUME WHEN I WAZ 8

  • You didn't suck water up in that Miele did you?

  • wow ur a dumbass, who the fuck presses down on the bag. just use an original vacuum bag and pull the tabs and the bag will close. no one goes around and press down on the bag. and you can always buy a hepa filter. unless ur dying from allergies you don't need one. i'm allergic to fucking mould and dust and all that shit and i super clean filer does fine. actually it catches a lot of dust from the vacuum. so yeah know your stuff, btw i was 13 when i asked for a miele vacuum for b-day.

  • u r so stupid the hepa miele only comes with a hepa if you see the specifacation on the box or u fit it yorself im a kid 13 actually and my miele (which by the way is pronounced meela not spelt like that but said like that ) s5210 had a hepa put in and its brilliant no probas at all the reason u think the dirt is comin through the bag is coz u havnt changed the filter init for a long time

  • you dumb kid that a air filter not a hepa filter you know you have to order a hepa filter stupid.

  • if you use the miele bags then you wont have the bag probolem!

  • Just to let you know its not me lee its me lah. Duh!

  • looks like your vacuum sucks, you should probably save yourself the money on the "specialized high end bags" people have posted about and the expensive hepa filters and just get yourself a rainbow. No filters and air purifier certification.

  • Comment removed

  • Use genuine bags not knockoff. It will work better. Super air clean will filter awesome if you use the right equitment.

  • I doubt it. I will NEVER under ANY circumstances by a bagless vacuum. Miele, Sebo and Kirby are the best vacuums on the market today. I am willing to bet that your Miele outlives your DC04. Dyson's are notourious for being made of cheap parts that break easilly and they leak dust from the seal between the base and the air duct. Miele all the way!

  • I did a smoke test to show the leaks and the dc04 was leaky.

  • @sorcerer101567 Agreed, Aerus Electrolux is also right up there with the other good ones too.

  • Do this child understand what he talking about?

  • I love Miele!

  • The filter displayed here is the Super Air Clean Filter-the most basic filter Miele offers. There is still a 3 stage filtration process, which is far superior top any other cylinder vac and if the kid wants he could always upgrade to a HEPA filter!

  • miele have one of the best filters on the market and more to the point in 20 years time the miele will still be going strong wheras the dyson will not!

  • Oh yes it will.(reply oh no it wont.)

  • Guys, come on. Give this kid a break. He's 8! As much as I do think he is wrong, he is just voicing his opinion which is something that I encourage everyone to do. I have a Miele s5210 with a power brush and I can't fault it. I have a Super Clean Air filter in it and no problems

  • My Callisto's HEPA filter tends to have a greenish fur stuck to the bottom of the charcoal filter.

Seems as if the green sponge insulation is eroding. Please let me know if you have the same issue. It's minor. Just a spec here or there.

Please let me know if you can at least SEE the spongey filter as I can see it. It's right above the motor.

  • nightshot103, I have not had this problem. I have a HEPA filter in my S5210 and it's fine. No green fur at all.

  • Probly mould. Mouldy meile.

  • :-)

Thanks for the reply. I don't pay attention to it anymore though. I just enjoy vacumming with it.

  • It's called motor insulation.

  • @sorcerer101567 lol i have a super air clean filter too

  • i think u can change filer types

  • Yes, you can use either the one shown here, or a HEPA filter which is a pleated filter with charcoal pellets mounted in a light blue frame.

  • This looks like the Miele TT5000 vacuum and it does not have and Hepa filter, it uses and Active Air Clean Filter.

  • The filter in that Miele is a super air clean filter, not a Hepa Filter which is much thicker and fitted in a blue plastic cage. Most of the black seen on the underside of the filter is carbon dust produced by the electric motor. I own several Miele cleaners and Dysons and I would recommend Miele over Dyson anyday. You don't have to wear ear plugs when using a Miele as they are much much quieter than a Dyson.

  • And speaking from someone who owns both a Miele and a Dyson, I will take my Miele any day. IF you own a Dyson, or know someone who does, take the cyclone and dump the dirt and look up inside it. The container will be coated in filth, and this filth stays there and if you have long haired pets will begin to smell. Personally I prefer a bag that contains all the filth which can then be completely removed and thrown away leaving a clean vacuum, not a filthy plastic contraption.

  • The Dyson is the only cleaner that doesn't lose suction. ALL bags and filters will eventually clog, reducing suction, and leaving dirt where you most don't want it, in the rug. The advanced Cyclones used in Dyson solve this century old problem of clogging bags and filters. ONLY Dyson REALLY cleans.

  • yeh my ass

  • DYSON was not the first use cyclonic suction. Filter Queens patented the technology and when the patent ran out it was free market. Mr Dyson just messedthe system up with his dual cyclonic system. the problem with his system thoug is that it is a dual system ran by one motor which in turn equals ineffictiveness. not to mention the fact that if you sneeze near one it breaks. I threw mine out it left way to much behind in the carpet. u will see if you had a quality machine like FQ or Riccar.

  • OH and one more thing. Dysons Dont loose suction my EYE. If you could gauge the suction power in the first place you will find that a 2.5 amp eureka hand vac has more suction power.

  • Exactly.

  • dysons vacuum sucks ass miele is really clean
