In My opinion the best starter marker for a woodsball player is probably a 98 custom with a flatline if not then maybe a a-5 there a little easier to sink allot of money into though so its up to you really but i would stick to tippmann for a beginner woodsball player they make good reliable easy to maintain starter markers i have a A-5 for Woodsball with a e-grip flatline and the cyclone upgrades and i love it, i use a G3 for speedball
