Laughed when reading your comments. I never heard the song, but really enjoyed it and thought you did a great job. I had searched on hard strum country trying to find something different to break in a new guitar. You play really nice eggs, and dead on or not, it sounded great, and that's usually better than dead on. Put your own twist on the song. One of my alltime favorite songs!.....I see you play it in D instead of C.....better for vocals, I think.....Very well played and sung!

You should consider getting a Godin guitar. I have the LGXT model-it allows you to play synth and acoustic simultaneously with the electric.....then you wouldn't need a backing track.

The down side is that it is highly addictive and you probably wouldn't be seen by the general public for days on end.

@MelvinWren I wanted to play it in the key of D but was stretching to sing it so I just tuned it down a whole tone therefore the key is C saved me relearning the song just laziness I suppose but the solo is the same for both keys just move up or down 2 frets hope this explains it.
