@SuperTimebandit Van Stephenson died of skin cancer complication in the morning of April 8, 2001 in his home in Nashville,Tennessee. I saw the news in CBS in 2001. Too bad he's good, he was 47. He's only got a couple of albums then descended to country music in 1992 by joining the Blackhawk band but got only a minor success. I miss his music.

Probably one of the most perfect pop songs ever laid down on tape or vinyl. Not to leave out some of the hookyest guitar licks ever , courtesy of Dann Huff. Both Dann and keyboardist Alan Pasqua went on to form Giant...and Van co-wrote a few songs with them from their album "Time To Burn". Would love to see a video for "No Secrets" form Van's "Suspicious Heart" album. That song also was the title music to the C.Thomas Howell film "Secret Admirer".
