saw him at the 9:30 in DC on Sunday. he is natural entertainer; played for 2 and a half hours without a break & had the crowd in the palm of his hand the whole time. At the same time, though, he was scary to watch, because you got the sense that he's walking on some very thin ice. People who make such light jokes about their drug and alcohol problems are really scary. Hope he figures out whatever his problem is because he's a national treasure. and then he closed with a Replacements cover!!!!

Like Hank back then, Justin is beginning his journey of self-discovery. Please step back and take a moment to enjoy this for what it is and wish Justin the best in all of his musical endeavors. When I saw Hank back in '96 he resembled his legendary Grandfather, string tie, suit, hat, and all.

I envy the offspring of these talented musicians for diving off into the unknown and finding themselves!
