Haters gonna hate, I'm not a fan of The Miz, but just hearing what he had to go through in the locker room, damn that's tough and for him to be the WWE Champ after all that, the guy has a will of stone. Nothing but respect to The Miz!
I never minded that he came from a reality show, and I respect that he worked hard, but the fact is, he still sucks! Look up his first appearance on Raw - he should've been fired on the spot! Yes, he has improved, but only slightly!
This is what wrestling has come to. The Miz has no originality in his character, he has lame catchphrases, he's a terrible actor, he comes off as a wannabe bad ass but fails miserably, and to top it all off he looks like a goof! Seriously compare Stone Cold in his prime to this should-be-jobber, and there's no comparison!
I respect Miz. Here's my problem. I don't like how he's saying that he thought he was better than Bryan Danielson because he performed in front of thousands. Mason Ryan performs in front of thousands of people. Does that make him better than TJ Perkins? Exactly. Miz also needs to do his homework on Danielson. Bryan performed in front of thousands in Japan. So, that "30 people" thing was just stupidity on his part.
I remember watching The Miz cutting promos on various Real World shows and thinking that he was charismatic and had potential, and then to see him later on in WWE was so surreal, it was cool to see him make it.
This make me sad how the wrestlers treated him. I thought I'd never say this but...he's AWESOME. I use to hate this guy but now I have SOOO much respect for him.
I respect the HELL outta the Miz, from everything hes been thru in the locker room to get to where he is, it takes a LOT of Focus, determination and character! Love this guy

One thing I'd like to address; The WWE's wrestling doesn't come close to the independent wrestling. It's like saying you operate better when you're restricted to freely do whatever the hell you want to do. That's one thing Miz doesn't understand. The WWE's wrestling isn't the best wrestling gets. There's a reason why Danielson is the best technical wrestler in the world. Overall, it was a good interview though.
In my opinion, Miz is one of the best talents WWE currently has, if not the very best. I think he cuts a really good promo and I must add that he is better on the mic than Cena is. Miz is my favorite wrestler these days. I was pretty pissed to hear he lost to Cena last night but I kind of expected it to happen. I really really hope they dont drop the ball with him though like they have done with other..now former..main event stars

@fitzgerald434 I totally respect your opinion. Sadly the mic work is all that matters to WWE because thats what makes you marketable. Austin, Hogan, The Rock, Cena. None of them are/were the best technical wrestlers in the ring. Cena has 5 moves of doom, hogan had 2, Austin had 2 or 3, and the Rock had 4 or 5 as well. They could all talk though, and that is why I think Miz does deserve the title. He talks smack so well that people will pay to see him lose.

I grew up watching legends like Stone Cold Steve Austin, HBK, Undertaker, The Rock, Kurt Angle, you name it. THEY were real champions. Miz isn't even in their league. He's at least 2 leagues BELOW all those greats. WWE just gave him the title, like they do with EVERYONE these days it seems, because they had few other possibilities for new champs and knew fans were probably getting tired of the same old guys holding the title repeatedly.
And think about this for a moment: guys like Razor Ramon and Mr. Perfect, who were LIGHT-YEARS ahead of Miz in talent and experience, NEVER were given the wwe title. NOT ONCE. I mean, if Miz faced Bret Hart in his prime, he'dg clobbered.

Honestly, Im happy for the guy. He started on a reality show actually being the Miz character. He later went on to work on the indies, and was actually was on tough enough season 4 and lost. He reall y has payed his dues. P.S. Rosenberg I got a great idea for a pro wrestling radio show

I hated The Miz, but eventually he became an unbelivable love-to-hate character from the WWE. I have seen the WWE from 2 years now and I have enjoied every Miz's matches.
I loved this enterview because you can see the real Mike talking about The Miz and the struggle which everybody has to fight in life to get what you dream to get.
It would be AWESOME to get to meet him, better yet, to be his friend.
I've always felt that the bad guys in the WWE were, for the most part, the nicest and most humble guys outside of it. The Miz appears to be a cool person.
This made me feel so bad for the Miz. Glad he's living his dream.

well if they let cena win, then there was no point in having to build up the miz as the champion. they wouldnt have the miz beat cena for 3 or 4 weeks straight for the crowd to take him seriously and then have him lose at mania? all that work would all be for nothing. the wwe needs new superstars to put over and the miz is one of them and by him getting put over, he needs 2 win at mania. but i think the wwe will have the rock get invloved in the match and cost cena for the title.

@BrIaNXDFILMS my friend. . I agree with you entirely on everything. but just because he should win, doesnt mean he will. The past 4 weeks of miz actually doing well are just to make cena look even stronger when he does win. It makes me sick.
as for the rock, that is the only thing that I am unsure about! which makes it even more interesting to watch. I would be shocked if he screwed cena over, being as he isnt looking to return to wrestling right now as a performer.

@fitzgerald434 I totally respect your opinion. Sadly the mic work is all that matters to WWE because thats what makes you marketable. Austin, Hogan, The Rock, Cena. None of them are/were the best technical wrestlers in the ring. Cena has 5 moves of doom, hogan had 2, Austin had 2 or 3, and the Rock had 4 or 5 as well. They could all talk though, and that is why I think Miz does deserve the title. He talks smack so well that people will pay to see him lose.

I grew up watching legends like Stone Cold Steve Austin, HBK, Undertaker, The Rock, Kurt Angle, you name it. THEY were real champions. Miz isn't even in their league. He's at least 2 leagues BELOW all those greats. WWE just gave him the title, like they do with EVERYONE these days it seems, because they had few other possibilities for new champs and knew fans were probably getting tired of the same old guys holding the title repeatedly.
Why else would Jeff Hardy get the title?

The mere FACT that a dumbass like Cole refers to him as a "technical wrestler", which is just a spit in the face to all the technical greats like Benoit, Angle, Hart and Hennig, shows that the people who run the wrestling world now, or at least WWE, have got their heads up their asses.

@whoo689 saying you grew up in the attitude era is a crap example as there was not really as much "real wrestling" then so you don't know what your talking about or you would have picked the 1993-1997 era of wrestling just before AE when pure wrestling was at its best in wwe. I mean nothing will ever match the attitude era in excitement or entertainment but there is much better "real wrestling" now that goes uncredited as it lacks blood or chair shots.

Honestly, Im happy for the guy. He started on a reality show actually being the Miz character. He later went on to work on the indies, and was actually was on tough enough season 4 and lost. He reall y has payed his dues. P.S. Rosenberg I got a great idea for a pro wrestling radio show

I hated The Miz, but eventually he became an unbelivable love-to-hate character from the WWE. I have seen the WWE from 2 years now and I have enjoied every Miz's matches.
I loved this enterview because you can see the real Mike talking about The Miz and the struggle which everybody has to fight in life to get what you dream to get.
It would be AWESOME to get to meet him, better yet, to be his friend.
