i had my l72 and i think its a great phone. But i just had 1 prob with the keypad. I've already brought it to service center coz the plastic of the keypad was already detached from the keypad itself so i changed it. Nonethelees, this is a gud phone and i missed it it coz i gave it to my brother.

u can fix the lcd screen..i fixed mine..not really myself but mine died off too ad i sent it to a a mobile servicing shop and they got it done beautifully form me..but i'm plannin to upgrade to the l9 now haha

the only thing you need to load Vids on your computer is a cable, which anyway is delivered with your phone. It´s really fast with uploading.

...Cont. As for memory it now supports a full 2GB card and with the no-limit music player is actually a decent little phone/player now. You just copy music files over and play! Eat your heart out iPod nano. With the now super cheap price and small size of the microSD cards, get a 2nd and there's another 2GB of music. As much better as the L7 was than a RAZR the L9 is better than L7. Only negative is the EDGE instead of full 3G but EDGE isn't too bad though; too small a screen for surfing anyway.

I now have one. It is WAAAAY better than my L7. Gone is the stupid proprietary iTunes and crappy hacks to get it to do what you really want. The Java music player is worlds better too and more flexible--multiple play lists, sort options, etc. And the FM radio works very well but only with the special headphones. The OS is different (think KRZR) but basically the same feel and an L7 user can hop right on one. The 2mp camera is worlds better, brighter and better low light detail too. Cont...

Which are "the special headphones"? I got Motorola ones, but they don't seem to play stereo and also don't work as antenna for the radio.

the normal L7 headphones should play stereo fine on the L9 but the L9 comes with a special headphones that inclused a built-in antenna. It will have a little sticker on it that says "FM". They look very close to the L7's so if that sticker is not on it may be hard to tell the difference.

I'm not sure any cariers really have it to be honest. Looks like Rogers' prices are crap too. I have Cingular in the US (AT&T now) and I had to get an unlocked one online. Just get an unlocked phone anywhere online and any GSM carrier in the world can use it. Ebay has tons. Pop your SIM card in and go.

ive had this phone about a year (but the red one) and its practically white now where the paint has worn clean off also the top right button doesn't work which is bloody annoying the like paint on the buttons as well has worn off a bit so it looks shite now, they just don't build phones to last.

Um... the L9 ONLY comes in SLVR. And the L7 ONLY comes in Black (later a silver version but rare). Sorry, you got scammed; either it's a fake or was painted.

Acullay i have one. they do come in red it even has the (RED) logo on the back. its a great phone. oh and the red is only availble in aisa and africa but i got on specail website
