I'm 14 and I'm shocked an appauled that this man isn't a major rock icon, he inspired me to play guitar and i've now been playing for 6 years. He is the father of rock,
Classy ending and thank you. You just don't see that like you should. Too many just say thanks and walk off. The way Brian and his orchestra do it, you WANT to come back and see them again because they are grateful you came out. That's they way it should be done.
the guy just oozes cool. a great version of a great song...if you ever get a chance to see him live be sure to catch the show. few musicians have pushed the art forward...the stray cats did...and especially this guy.
I'm not totally sure but I think I saw the big man at the trumpet with the James Last band on You Tube a couple of years ago. Or maybe he's just a look-alike.

["What does this band not have?"]... uhhh one single original idea or note. Can't stand this music. The "beat" is infantile and the lyrics retarded. Lame
@LatinSkinz "not original"?!!! you clearly have no idea what you are talking about. but if you can't stand this music, then why bother looking it up? and what's wrong with the lyrics? talking about a saturday night out with a gf is way better than bashing women's rights in most modern "music" not to mention ladygaga and alike shit.
What does this band not have? Girls, a kick ass upright bass player, amazing guitar player who can play absolutely anything and has his own original sound (which is hard to come by these days), increadible drummer, and the best trumpet, sax trombone players I ever seen. BEST BAND IN THE WORLD.
As a man that loves all music, I must say he is the baddest of the badd as a top performer. Thanks for this! Gonna see this guy live sooon He is off the hizzie fo shizzie!!!!!!
This guy is so underrated! His power as a showman and performer in phenomenal! This performance just draws you in, and you can't help but have fun, even though you're not there.
he seems to be enjoying himself! what a great musician.
i saw the stray cats in honolulu back in the day and that was THE best rock and roll show i ever saw...BY FAR. when they took the stage all hell broke loose
Do you how expensive it is to have a large orchestra? Thats why most stopped playing and travelling in the early 1950's right before the advent of Rock and Roll. How did Brian pay all these cats in the band?
No, he has toured THE World. He is VERY popular in Japan, they are big into the rockabilly scene. He has toured Europe extensively as well as Austrailia and Asia.
He's the best! No wonder they save this for last. They must be exhausted after. Such energy from them. Why don't American audiences get the chance to experience them more often?
from wat i c on the video.. it looks like the singers guitar string snaps.. and its hanging there for most of the performance. but he still pulls it off.. thas y hes soo kioooll haha

Some things come to mind when I hear this band....Back to the Future, high school band, and playin bad ass riffs on guitar.
Few things make me cry. one of them is really high notes on trumpet played above the bars.
