Parts cost between $800-$900, would've been an extra couple hundred worth of servos to get it to walk. Bipedal robots ain't cheap.

i wonder how many hours did it take just to program the Transformation ( from car to Walking bot) god dude.. im learning Programming here.. but Gahh... here in philippines i cant find a school that offers Robotics.. :(

Gotta think...They laugh at the idea of a box that records television show...we got a VCR and TIVO in every home. They thought a box that cooks food instantly would work...a microwave oven in your house...a transforming robot only appears in cartoons and movies.....

It cant be done with the amount functions that it has to do. Anything that needs to be programmed needs integrated circuits.
