@fabulousAnita they're probably trying to make her burp. You need to do that once a baby finishes drinking milk otherwise the chances that they throw up on you are pretty high lol.
@YunJaeGDLuv Light patting its like rocking. My friend does something similar with her baby, she said its so the baby can be moved around with out waking easily, being used to movement when shes napping. Not sure if thats what this mother means to do but its what my friend does.

In asia, burping is a good thing and can also mean "being digest." Usually they hear the baby burp and let it lay flat and sleep. If the baby isn't burping, during/after it's sleep the baby might barf.
I'm about a month pregnant. I can't wait for priceless, irreplaceable moments like these. I may be able to blame it on my very emotional state of being, but this video made my eyes get all misty. What a beautiful moment. Thank you for sharing your precious angel with us. <3
