I'm an Oceanside native...Now that I live in Japan...I really miss the place. I have great memories of me and my late father fishing from the pier from midnight to 6 or 7 a.m.. Thanks for the video.
I lived in Oceanside from 1981 to 1985 really loved it there had a apartment at Lands End Had a lot of pictures for that time but lost them in a tornado in 05 I was stationed at Camp Pendlton Las Pulgas if anyone would have any pictures from that time I would love to buy them!!!
Wow!! I was born here in Oceanside, CA, and still live here! I love it!! The beaches, taking walks at the piers, sunshine, the warmth, the breeze! I would love to live here all my life, but I know, in 2 years, I will be gone :(

I guess if you consider that it the six pier that Oceanside has had since it incorporated as a city in 1888, then maybe. I am not sure the millions of people that waqlk the Pier every year would agree. Its 1,900 plu feet make it a rare oasis over the Pacific.
I have lived out here in Oceanside, CA for 28 years and absolutely love it!! Your video has totally captured the cool pace of life that Oceanside offers. I have one video of whales that we just saw a couple of weeks ago out of Oceanside Harbor. So many things to do in this area and who can ever complain about the weather??? Nice job, thank you for making me remember why I love living here!!

Whenever I ain't happy at home, I walk out the door, and walk to the beach, and invite some friends, and we love taking walks on the pier!!
