The airwaves didn't take to it as you'd expect but they're so crowded these day with lesser quality tunes that even a classic like can get lost in the shuffle. Good entree Dev You know, when Bono and the boys did the live version from MSG of I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For, they wanted SPECIFICALLY a black choir to back them up. Bono said you can't duplicate that sound. So anytime a white artist from Elvis to Winehouse to Clapton to Joss Stone are said to evoke a "black sound", believe me-it's the ultimate compliment.

As a musician, I totally agree with you.....there's way too much "consistency" for the live performances of this song.....it does sound exactly the same each time.....even Journey had some tonal/timing discrepancies each time they performed any hit song live, and they always tried hard to make it sound just like the record.....other than that, man, this song absolutely rocks!
