  • tow trucks rock

  • ahh the power of hydraulics. is it completely automated, or is it manually controlled?

  • @laParka777 manually

  • Gone in 15 seconds!

  • thats fucking sick! i just bought a tow truck from 78 to tow my 77 monte and i wish i had this man so cool

  • @zorinlynx What if I parked in your driveway for 5 or 10 minutes to visit your neighbor? You're telling me you wouldn't be mad?

  • @unowhtidc4554 Bad analogy. A better one would be you visiting me, then walking next door to talk to my neighbor before you leave. It would be asinine for me to make you move your car just to talk to my neighbor.

  • @zorinlynx Want a fair analogy? I came over to your house to visit you. When I was done, I left my car in the driveway and went over to your neighbors house. While I'm at your neighbors house you had another guest arrive, however; my vehicle was in the driveway, so consequently your guest has to park in the street. Since I was "finished" visiting you, wouldn't it make sense that your new guest should have priority for the driveway parking spot?

  • @unowhtidc4554 Shops =/= Homes.

  • 素早くレッカー移動出来て面白い。高速道路での事故車移動が安全に出来そう。

  • **I RECALL THE FIRST TIME THAT SETUP WAS USED IN WASHINGTON DC....TO ...TOW CARS.....IN FACT IT'S STILL BEING USED...**

  • Great, faster for the thieves to steal our cars-fags.

  • some much more easy to steal a car ... ^^

  • i have known lots of tow truck driver that has had a car come off there cradles. cars bottoming out and coming off cradle,,, L arms on cradle breaking and car falling off.. middle pin in cradle head snapping and whole cradle head and car falling off. lifting a car from rear and not having hand brake on or using stropes, car rocking and pulling out of cradle

  • .. lifting a front wheel drive manual from the front, using no stropes and car rocking back and forward then finally coming off cradle.. i could write so many examples that i know has happened over the years all because to lazy to use safety gear,

  • @aaktow i agree and some straps would help

  • @aaktow its about who cares its not my car..

  • @haha48 well that might be your attitude but it surely isn't mine..i treated any car i towed as carefully as possible.. even after 10 years towing , when some driver used to tow automatic cars backwards in neutral short distances i either turned the cars around to tow them or i put dollies on the cars.. it called having pride in your work..

  • @aaktow Ive seen drivers tow cars backwards with the tires squelling all the way to the lot... Ive seen them back into other cars in the lot then speed off and grab another car.. ive seen them drop cars off the back and seen them bonuce off so they can speed off and get more cars to make more money..

  • @haha48 you probably have but not in our tow firm.. we have been warned that if we tow a automatic backward and cause any damage then we have to pay to get the car fixed.. one driver did tow a car backward and caused $2000 damage to a gear box,, he paid to get it fixed.. .our drivers are paid a wage so it does not matter how many cars we tow .. most of our work is film work so we like to think we are professionals and take a l,ot of care

  • this is a demo so he would not have gone far . i went out with a towie while in america and he told me they have to use safety chains, straps and magnetic light on the back of the towed car.. i am not sure if all states are the same but i have never seen a car towed in america with out having straps over the towed wheels or a safety chain from towed vehicle to back of tow trucks.

  • do they strap it down or does it just sit on the arms like that, what if you hit a bump or something?

  • think your extending enough damn

  • Pretty cool.

  • easy way of lifting a car for free, if you want a new car then pick one up!! ;o)

  • id rather have a unit that can do a true 90 degree hook up...........

  • they say mechanical engineers have no common sence.

    HHR RRR EEEE HEEEE HAAA

  • that is sweet!

  • Haha.... I found the truck that towed my vehicle and totally destroyed it!!!!!!!!! Of course this was all after my 2 month battle w/ them in small claims court. I won: I was reimbursed and I fucked up the tow truck! Me and a buddy jumped the fence and devestated the vehicle w/ a 1'' pipe. No more headlights or windows! Then we pissed inside the vehcle...hehehe. The drivers of these vehicles have a minimum iq score. They arent exactly the sharpest chisels in the tool room. Got my revenge though:)

  • Well, if you won in court, then why would you destroy their property? You even jumped a fence, into the property where the tow truck was sitting, and commenced to destroy it? By the way, it takes a great deal of intelligence, to operate that kind of equipment. Since you say their IQ levels are at a minimum. Speaking of IQ levels? You might need to re-check yours.

  • Yeah, I totally destroyed it. I did this w/ one of my buddies from my University. Check my IQ score? No I don't think so. I could check yours though. I bet it isnt above 70.

  • That would probably mean that it's still much higher than yours. It doesn't take a University student to figure out right from wrong. It's just simply common sense, Asshole!

  • Ha! I've graduated some time ago-you tow truck driving, redneck, trashy hick bastard. Ad yes, I'm probably much smarter than you. You 're such a twat.

  • You graduated some time ago you say? Check your spelling and grammar before you post a comment to someone you STOOGE! Secondly, it's not only rednecks that obtain jobs as tow truck drivers, IDIOT! And thirdly, twat is an expected phrase, coming from a graduate, out of the Jackass Collegiate Institute of Performing Morons!

  • This is a fucking u tube nsg board... Do you seriously think I give a shit about sentence structure, syntax, grammar, etc etc... This is not a fucking thesis for grad-level studies. Retard. Haha you drive a tow truck! For a living? hahah thats even funnier. Thnx for tryin' to correct me- but perhaps you've been down some really shitty roads in life to end up as a towtruck driver. Hahaha. You brainless idiot:)

  • You must be a fucking buger flipper at mcdonalds making 7.25 an hour. Ive Been towing four 4 years and repoing for about 2. im proud of what i do make damn good money doing it

  • Go to Houston81's channel and look at his Occupation... it says, "Security for hire" So... to me, and maybe this is JUST me... but it seems like he is an unemployed security guard.

  • You sir are a fucking idiot. Why was your vehicle towed? Sounds to me like YOU parked some where you weren't supposed to.. or YOU didn't pay YOUR car payment...

Sounds to me like YOU're a fucking moron

  • that was directed @ houston81

  • I'm an idiot? No, I don't drive a tow truck for a living. Anyway, I parked at a closed fuel station. The tow truck companies offer kick backs to property owners whom other wise wouldnt mind a few cars on their property after hours. These drivers cruise around like fucking vultures just looking for someone to tow. They got what was comin from me. Me and a buddy pissed inside of the truck and broke all of the glass. I'm a mechanical engineer I can keep up w/ payments...

  • and then I went to the moon, and beat up some martians, then I beat up the cure for cancer, and then I punched my own mother! My own mother. I rock....

  • they tried towing my truck with one of these the other day. i got in my truck and got out of there.

  • just got me wet.

  • Thats why

If your in fear of being repo'd pull in the parking space front first with the wheels at an angle

  • Yes, because then we can use Go-Jaks and charge you more. If you think you can tow-proof a car, you are sadly mistaken. Go ahead and have someone block you in, we will tow them too.

  • umm. All that does is make us dolly them. So...2 extra minutes and more money. Try again

  • park your shit where vever cause if i get called four it its comming with me no matter what try me

  • Try me....you'll get it but you wont be leaving my driveway with my truck.

  • Hopefully recoveries are of those that are not locked and in park vs Neutral.

    Europe does it different.

They position next to veh and lift it onto bed.

    No dragging, no damage.

    Still a nice stinger unit.

Should be part of roll off truck to take 2 vehicles.

  • century has beds that have auto loader stingers on trhe back not many use them cause they freeze up in the cold

  • Cool

  • How many takes was that? It's difficult to get perfect on the angle hook, usually have to adjust position at least once, sometimes u get lucky.

  • That was one try for his angle hook.

and I don't have to EVER adjust my position whenever I'm grabbing a vehicle from an angle..

  • sik bit of gear man! now search for simbad mini tow truck and see if you can do better than that!!!
