Awesome titlemusic. This and the Forbidden Forest theme is, what I consider masterpieces and the Forbidden Forest theme is an original as far as I know. This is a chipversion of Pase el agoa. Search for the Forbidden Forest remix by Peter Connelly if you want an eargasm :D

I had this on the Acorn A300.... The most annoying thing though.... Once I managed to raise an army the disk wasn't in a fit state to continue!!! Hours of my life wasted!

I had no idea there was another gameplay section after the warfare. That maze part feels like it belongs to a different game. Until that the game had been low on fantasy elements, and all of the sudden you're fighting demons with a sword that can shoot.

Remember playin this back in the day, only ever got as far as the Chess type battle at 1:12:00, glad I never got past that as the rest of the game looked as boring as batshit.
