@jsl151850b "One Froggy Evening" ended in 2056. But this whole cartoon takes place before that cartoon. You can see in "Scene 7" that the castaway has a box with "Robinson Crusoe, Esq." on it. So I guess Marvin the Martian let Michigan J. Frog go (perhaps after a similar fate as all these guys) in 1892, just in time for the dedication of the building torn down in 1955.

At the time Froggy evening was made, Marvin Martian was extremely popular. Suddenly there was a request from the top to add Marvin to the story... because Warner Bros. wanted production cels of Marvin to sell in the gallery.

The animation quality is worse, the slapstick is just not right, and how similar the voices of billy west and co. may be the voice acting is just not the same without mel blanc.
