Back in the day, only men who owned land could vote. Not fair? Well, to own land meant you have to be highly intelligent, well-read, extremely hard working, with enough care and pride to get there. Slaves and women didn't have the education in wisdom back then to vote. Today's equivalent would be own land, have a college degree or high yearly salary, and favors wouldn't be allowed; if the US were like that, conservatives would be the only ones running the government.

Well, Obama DID WIN the Nobel Peace Prize 14 days into his Presidency, tho he had no idea why he'd won since he hadn't done a lick to earn it (still hasn't 37 months later).
From then on, all respect for the "Nobel Peace Prize" was lost.
Now its just a political farce used by the United Nations to lure and brown-nose key politicians into accepting Global Governance by selling National Sovereignty to the new Global Government.
And sure enough, Obama sold our sovereignty like a good little puppet.

A Nobel Peace Prize, just like an Academy Award IS a joke: They give it to people that are likely to remain famous for years to come. When Obama is out of office, the media will still be following this guy. A prize or an award just looks good on a resume, but basicly it just helps thier title. They wouldnt give it to some unknown actor or some charity person that isnt constantly in the news. Its all about building some guys name and creating a "superstar" that will sell you shit you dont need...

I think its safe to say Obama did earn that award. He earned that award for 3 reasons. 1. HE IS NOT BUSH!!!! 2. The U.S. Citizens needed to get a lil moral boost after we had Bush as President. 3.
