I think that, at age 63, almost 50 years in the business, 3,000 published songs and all of her awards, Dolly can lip sync if she wants. She has earned it. She is still genius, and always puts on a fantastic show.

I know...she's sung this son like 10 million times..you'd think her voice would just fall into the notes...from a life long fan...the lipsync has been a disappointment these last several years...if she'd stop thinking she had to do such big shows and give herself a break...she could sing live at smaller venues..she has nothing to prove..she's the greatest...she deserves to relax a little...

At 2.11 you can also see its a pre record. I have seen her 'live' 3 times and she has never sang a live word yet. I have been on the front fow and its really clear from there she does not sing live at all. I am amazed how she has got away with it for so long with just recieving small amount of bad press. I love her anyway and I am just happy to get to see her when she tours.

Well, Dolly does lip-synch fairly often, but she has NEVER done a completely prerecorded show. I think that's pretty obvious if you pay attention. I have seen her live seven times and can tell you you that although each show included at least a few lip synched numbers (a larger percentage on the larger-scale shows like the "Hello I'm Dolly" tour), still every time a large chunk of the songs were actually live. I'm sure that saying she has "never sang a live word yet" is not correct.

Trust me i have heard Dolly mess up before in a live concert! it wasn't that obvious but i heard it loud and clear!

well, cuz she dont use live words dosen't mean it's playback... not everyone use live words...

@dinotwo193 I know you posted your comment two years ago, but after a few times watching the same part over and over again she doesn't start singing yet. the back singers start then she falls in with them. you don't hear hear voice right when they start...
