  • LMFAO@1:15 WHERE HE PICKS UP THE ROCK OF COCAINE. SON OF BITCH DIDNT MISS A BEAT!

  • He picked up a white bag, sure it was cocaine. These performers most of them start out in church, singing gospel. The pressures of fame and performing destroys

  • BEST???? Not in quality baby hahahaha

  • All these Bobby Brown lovers are part of his fucking problem. That nigga didn't pick up no watch, that was a bag of that good ole booger-sugar. If my screen showed it that clear I know yours did also. Now I understand why everybody commenting says he is so full of energy, he has snorted about a half a brick. that son-of-a bitch is WIRED!

  • @MrBigkahuna40 dont be so angry witya husband mrs houston ; D

  • Energy!

    Great showmanship!

Thanks for the 80's & 90's memories Bobby!

  • When Brown does the audience-walk and wanders past the long-haired rockers...wow, they didn't put him over AT ALL. Complete no-sell from the 1980s hair rockers.

  • A really bad idea to perform this song live as it requires the dance moves WITH the live singing. If it weren't for the backing track from the studio original, this would've been a total bust.

  • did Bobby Basehead pick up his crack?

  • that was so not his watch was a cocaine, if you look his watch is still on when he puts his "stuff" in his pocket.....lol 2funny

  • 1:22 he puts it in his pocket

  • 1:17 I think he picks up a bag of cocaine and puts it in his pocket.... 1:14 you see it on the stage.

  • I was just 10 years old when Ghostbusters 2 came out. Ever since I heard this song in that movie, I was hooked on Bobby. Damn thats a performance. Everyone wants to talk about how hes talking thru most of this instead of talking but listen to a Rolling Stones song and Mick Jagger doenst really sing much. He just talks..... Shame to see Bobby go down in his life but Im grateful for his songs....

  • this guy kept it real no lipsinging ....... i miss the 80s and 90s

  • he picked up something off the stage and put it in his pocket right in between the chorus and start of the 2nd verse ????????

  • @sennheiserusa he dropped his watch, it slipped off his arm and he stuck it in his pocket

  • @sennheiserusa he dropped his crack pipe

  • somebody throw this man a towel

  • He certainly has a lot of energy. Great performance!

  • Justin Bieber wouldn't hv been able to hold a candle to BB...

  • now thats a performance haha all that dancin & sangin... no Lipsinging either actual sangin haha:.

  • So much energy in this man. I knew he was a good dancer, but DAMN I didn't know he could move like that!!!!!!!!

  • Bobby was an amazing performer, as for his singing, well that's another story. But hey at least he can dance. I remember seeing him in concert back in the day and he basically talked through all his songs, he hardly sang, I was like wow okay. But at least new edition was good.

  • I always loved 2 c him and heart and soul dance he is the King of the stage and always gave his all when he performed love him so much and i wish ppl would just c him 4 what he really stands 4 instead of all the negativness hes known 4 bein married to Whitney cause hes so much more and i no this from experience hes humble genuine real and giving love him

  • Now that's a real dancer, he went into the crowd and got them screaming ! Bobby, you were real ! Thanks for doing this for the Ghostbusters Fandom

  • Now that's a real dancer, he went into the crowd and got them screaming ! Bobby Rocks

  • 1:17 he picks up a bag of rock that fell out of his pocket without missing a dance move.

That, for me defines Bobby Brown: He is a motherfucker of an entertainer with a shitload of problems.

  • Bobby Brown was the RnB man back in the day

  • I'm sorry but he hardly sings here...on CD he sounds great but on stage...meh...

  • @PowerCrumb45 the amount of movement he did...its pretty hard to really keep ur breath.

  • @blackblackroses

MJ could move even more and hit the notes...bad tour 1987 :)

  • I thought I'll never seen this again and... Internet magic! Thanks to share this! I was a Kid when I saw it first!

  • I still love his music. Got to give him respect for singing versus pretending.

  • DID HE SAY SHIT AT THE BEGINNING ON LIVE TV?? o_O

  • @capothedon2010 lol yep,its bobby brown for cryin out loud,he did wut he wanted to.he was too real

  • cursed that awesome

  • bobby in his prime

  • He performed with New Edition the same night!! He also did the Tap into my heart song while setting up the New Edition performance.

  • that was great , you go bobby...

  • went down hill from here..loved bobby up till about this point but WOW how the mighty fell..great music..

  • This was back when MTV was worth watching.

  • @XChildeofMalkavX

It was still a young channel at the time.

  • Back in the day, BB rocked. I miss my youth, things just seemed cooler back then - music, movies, life.

  • @honeegrrl everyone has a bad performance Usher has nothin on Bobby in his prime..i've seen usher have a couple bobby was at his best but he still gave a rockin performance if u dnt lik this one then click on the one when he did it at the soul train awards it was much better

  • Imiss the world tade centres :( makes me think of new york this song, thank you to all the first responders :0 :) x

  • He feels what he's singin... and much better live, it has more soul. Fuck you Biebers, Spears and all the actual pop music.

  • Hey bobby gave it to ya real. Actually sang and performed. Put on a show. Unlike these fake ass so called performers of today lip synching and shit. Bobby was just keeping it real. He's up there doing his thang. Not u

  • I love how Bobby Brown just talks through most of the song.

  • All the haters got to admit Bobby was nice.

  • He sounded like he was out of breath throughout the song. But I still love that jam.

  • I think B. Brown looks and sounds great in his music videos.......But live, he's terrible. I mean, he's all sweaty, out of oxygen, jumping up and down like a little monkey....Goodness, he's awful!

  • @ionuorah OMG I so agree, he talks through all his songs.

  • @ionuorah Im a fan of every genre of music and Im a musician whos going to tell you that you dont know shit! that was one hell of a performance out of breath or not!

  • @TheDotComKid84 Well, as you can see from the comments below, some people do agree with me, so "i do know shit". You're the one that doesn't know shit.....for a musician.

  • If he could have somehow sang the whole time with all of the dancing instead of yelling a few times, he would have been even better. This is what I grew up on.

  • usher Has nothing on Bobby Brown NEVER!!

  • @tt09291979 Excuse me are we listening to the same thing?

Bobby talks through all his songs when he performs live, why? Because he never was a singer, as a performer he's great, as a singer he sucks. Now I have seen Usher in concert more than once and each time Usher has nailed it. I'm sorry but Usher is the man.

  • @honeegrrl Bobby voice is way better than ushers how could you say he sucks and say usher does any better the man does the same shit if not worse he has backing tracks singing for him and sings only half the songs and never sings high live.

  • @wiltisdabest Well I have seen B. Brown more than once and yes he does talks of most of his songs. I remember when he sung song. he talked through the entire 2nd verse. I have also seen Usher in concert and was very pleased and usher puts on an awesome show. B. Brown is over he had his time. Perhaps if he hadn't start drugs he would still be half way singing today but that's nobody's fault. He should have stayed off the drugs.

  • @honeegrrl look at his japan videos that are here on youtube he sings most of the time i don;t know about other times but he does and look at his latest stuff with ralph and johnny his sings his songs in full. It is hard to dance and sing maybe he wasn't that good at doing them together but the man can sing better than usher and is even in dancing.

  • @honeegrrl omg ur not serious!Even if he spoke through some,he does ALOT of movement so its kinda hard to keep up singing,ATLEAST he tried to give u a live performance instead of lip syncing.Usher WILL NEVER BE BETTER THAN BOBBY B.Bobby B is Bobby B."B Brown is over he had his time"damn that is cruel, ppl shud say the same for black music period becuz its CRAP compared to before!& damn dis is how we're gonna treat our ppl?Dey slip & fall & we just dash dem 2 day side?smh

  • @honeegrrl Bobby Brown is one of the greatest entertainers in history.Usher can sing good but hes just a good r&b singer, hes NO BOBBY BROWN,hes no MICHAEL JACKSON,sorry but dese ppl came at the end wen black music was starting to get watered down.....ppl who are GREAT are GREAT in their own RIGHT.Bobby Brown IS Bobby Brown, the name says it,& we can watch the footage to get what is meant,he earned his place as the king of new jack swing.

  • Yo, peace to Bobby Brown this is him in his prime, it feels good to hear a black man wanting to save tha world not be some gangsta like all tha other niggaz, 1 luv B. Brown :)

  • What dropped out of his pants..hmm

  • @softyme63

    probably dope or crack

  • @softyme63 probably a wrap!!! lol

  • @drewali7 UR SO RIGHT!!!!

  • The King Of R N B On Stage

  • it gives me chills to hear bobby brown to this very day!!!!!!!! he's the blueprint to this very day!!!!! and nobody wants to admit it!!!!!

  • Correction, this was at the 1989 VMAs. In 1990, Bobby (and the rest of New Edition) did a reunion performance.

  • he gave it everything he had awesome
