Yeah, its true! At this time was Mayhem not so "popular" like today. I was 18 years and this was my first Metalconcert after the fall of the german Wall! At this time flew also Pig scull pieces to the fans! This Concert was in the "Eiskeller" in Leipzig Connewitz. 3 Bands had played. The intermission was filled with voices of puppets from Children TV, a Really contrast!!!! Since one month, i do know, that Mayhem played there. It´s a long time ago! I forgot that!! Unbelievable!!!

Dead is so awesome! He was the perfect example of black metal. It's crazy he would bury his clothes nights before a show and them dig them up to get the true effect of being dead. He didn't enjoy living in this world and he wanted to be dead, and he got his wish! I wouldn't listen to mayhem without dead, he made this band what it is. and without oystein too..

Dead had amazing deep dark yet very clear vocals, he was sick minded which made this song so much better because he meant everyword he says, Dead was mayhem. and i'll always resepct him more than anyone else in black metal. hail Dead. Best Mayhem vocalist or black metal vocalist ever. IMO.
