@cool1pivoter I don't think it's an improvisation, Flea plays the same rhytm with his bass, if you listen carefully you'll know what I mean :)

@DeinzeScouts I think it is a improvisation actually. Maybe Flea and Frusciante had some licks ready, but the main part is improvisation I think. I sometimes improvise with my band and when I find a nice lick/rhytm i keep repeating it. They had also been playing together for several years then (and in the late eighties andearly nineties ofcourse) so they "feel" each other musically. But hey, improvised or not, it's beautiful :)
