Dave Ramsey is an idiot. I heard him telling a woman on his show in Jan 2008 that Peter Schiff was a kook & that gold wasn't going anywhere and that there was no way GM & Ford were in any real trouble. Don't take advice from this guy unless you want to be broke.
I love Dave Ramsey on financial education, etc. but he doesn't seem to get it. I agree with him that politicians & governments are not what create jobs & wealth but it is the American people. He & I see eye to eye on that. However he seems to ignore that gov't has been a barrier to the American people achieving. He doesn't like to get political. Why? Is he a non-profit organization? Why does he refuse to engage politically, especially when the gov't NEEDS a Total Money Makeover?!

For every dollar that comes into existence, a dollar of debt is created whether it's through the federal reserve or the fractional reserve banking system. Consequently, every dollar of debt you pay off, a dollar of currency is destroyed. Our economy & currency is based 100% on debt. Debt is evil, pay it all off, but rest assured, the government will pick up the slack and make more. Let's end our fiat currency; End the Fed; End the Fractional Reserve Banking System.
