heres a cool list of alternates-2-3 inch bar reverse curls,2-3 inch bar wrist curls,watson custom strength THORS HAMMER,bending 60 penny nails,coc grippers,1 and 2 finger deadlifts,i hand rolling thunder deadlifts,pliers lift,little big horn,FARMERS WALK with 250 lb anvils,thick bar pull-ups,thick rope pull-ups,titans telegraph key,lever bars.treat the forearms with respect and train them brutally hard.
For rope twists I'd stray away from arms out lol. When your tuck your elbows and keep your forearms parallel with the ground it works alot better. Also you need to slow down on going up. You will have to lower the weight and do more reps. Trust me it's worth it. :D

generally speaking.. you dont have to do forearms.. but do excercise that induce the use of the forearm.. regardless.... if you want preportion.. or your trying to max wiegh.. or you compete in lifts.. get forearms.. etc
Training the forearms with flexion and extension exercises is going to generally increase your grip strength regardless. There are some grip related exercises such as the isometric holds shown in this video and the pinch grip shown in part 2 of Forearms Training :)

@daram1 Hey buddy, you need SUGAR after your workout dude!!! After your workout wait around 15-30 mins and then have some simple sugars, glucose, dextrose or maltodextrin is a good choice! You need protein too, but sugar is more important in the first half an hour after your workout!! It is also good to take the sugars in liquid form as they will b e absorbed by the body a lot faster!
