  • i wonder what the wagon wheel would show!!!

  • Shane Warne took DRUGS! Delete his records!

  • Why are there so many birds LOL

  • HAHAHAHAHA

  • The actual record is 17 I think. The ball became lost in a tuft of grass and the batsmen took full advantage.

  • hahahaha i hit a 7 in a match a few weeks ago :)

  • in the late 80's when there were no ropes on the field australia ran got 9 runs at adeliade oval ran a 5 and got 4 over throws now thats a record

  • a Six hit off a no ball.. is also considered a 7 run in 0 ball... that has been done many times...

This 7 runs in 1 ball is clearly no Record

  • NEW RECORD??!! I heard someone once ran 15 off one ball when it got lost in some long grass

  • it was a great shot, and it deserved 7 runs

  • Haha this sums up the tour for England! 5-0!

Anyway Andrew Symonds hit an 8 against NZ recently (same thing happened but they ran an extra 1)

  • This is far from a record. C.B.Fry scored 66 runs off one ball . The ball lodged in a tree inside the boundary, the umpire ruled "that as the ball was visible it could not be deemed lost" the fielding side went for a ladder, hence the 66 runs (from Wiki Answers)

  • Far England had a shocker of a day on day 5 on that 2nd test

  • Lol it was a horrible mistake, but I don't see how that makes England look foolish.

  • 7 runs in one ball happens sometimes, good to see in a vid but nothing unique.

  • wen u av a no ball it dnt count as ur runs

    dumb shit

  • 7 runs in one ball? new record?

what about no ball and a six?

  • Pomy idiot.

  • i knew its england

  • tht was just a charity match if u hit the roof its 12 runs but this is the cricket recored for test status but afridi is one hell of a hitter

  • uuu

  • afridi scored 12 of a ball so this is not a record

  • erm, Afridi's 12 wasnt in proper cricket!

  • IF it wasnt proper cricket so then bradman played all his cricket before ICC that holds the right to conduct crickting activities so wat would u call the heroics of SIR Donald Bradman

  • Proper cricket includes test matches, one day internationals, twenty20 internationals, first class cricket, list 'a' matches or twenty20 matches. Power cricket does not fall into any of these categories, Bradman's achievements clearly do!

  • Any match organised by the icc do fall under ur mentioned categories but here the six is called the biggest six of cricket not proper crckt.

  • this is an aussie propaganda to put druggie in the front.

Warne is an ordinary bowler and got only tailenders at the expense of McGrath. His name is Mr TAIL-ENDER,

Warne took duiretics, which is a masking agents for drugs. He took duiretics because he took drugs and to cover it.

Warne is a cheat and a chucker.

He got away from chucking because He is an aussie, white and a racist.

Warne took diuretics, which is a masking agents for drugs.

  • you are an absolute tool. I really hope for your sake you're joking. Many people who know this game couldn't be bothered replying to you and are laughing at the stupidity of that comment. I hope you are joking

  • hahahahahahahaahaha you're a fuckwit

  • record is 12 by afridi

  • You idiot, that 12 was in fake power cricket, not in proper First Class or List A cricket

  • hahahahaha

  • symonds against new zealand in november got like 9 or someshit.

  • peterson=twat

  • what happens if the batsmen run 5, and the the feilder makes a dive to save the boundary, but knocks ball into the ropes during the process...is it 4 or 5 or even 9?

  • it is 4

  • Yeah in that situation it's 4, but if the fielder did it deliberately to stop the batsmen running five, then it is 5 penalty as well as the boundary- so 9.

  • I mean in reply to darockk

  • record is 8 runs in 1 ball

    4 by running

    4 by over throw

  • Record is 17 for Australia when the ball got stuck in a huge mound of grass. Still good to watch England do that though

  • i saw 12 runs in 1 ball. tht waz nthin.

  • its not peiterson is it??? man gives away more overthrows by getting overescited than anyone in history!

  • heh, they're always so good at that...things would of def been different if pidg didnt roll his ankle...not to mention the mints...still one of the best series though.

  • lol, go aussies

  • Only England could do that. ( Yes I know other people have as well)

  • i dont wanna sound like a typical youtube dick, but the records 8

  • HAHAHAHAHA.

  • stupid pomms

  • How can you call anyone stupid, you spelt Poms with two m's. I can't fucking stand your type, the 0.01% of Aussies that let down the rest of your country by just making dumb comments. What's your problem, you believe all the bigotry your father told you as he raped your arse.

  • in the last Black caps vs aussie game andrew symonds ran 4 and then got 4 over throws when mucculum went for a direct hit lol. Go Blackcaps!

  • ahaha suck on that the pomiess

  • "watch this is really cool this shows how foolish england is sometime is"

    - jmuncjochan

    what a fucking idiot

  • i agree, what there foolish for an over throw? shit happens =='

  • The foolishness comes from the fielder hurling the ball into the stumps after the batsmen have made thier ground. He could have just lobbed it to the keeper instead he gives up four runs.

  • Roger Telemachus bowled 4 no balls and got hit for 2 fours and one six, while the first legal bowl went for 2, that would equal to 19 of 1 ball.

  • You are a fucking imbecile. He got away from chucking because his arm was dead straight you fucking sub-human jerk. And how is he a cheat? Since matches are officiated by two neutral umpires, a 3rd umpire for close decisions and a match referee how would that work? You are a fucking moron.

  • He was fat, he took weight loss drugs. Fat people take weight loss supplements all the time :)

And I don't recall him ever getting no-balled for his action, unlike Muthiah Muralitharan who had rules changed to accommodate his action.

  • I'm fairly sure the record for ODI cricket is 17 runs. Pakistani bowler bowled three or four no balls in a row and some were hit for 4. Legitimately, this counts as one ball.

  • This Happened this summer aswell. England v South Africa Second Test (I Think). A 7 was scored after the English Fielder overshot the stumps. Same 3-4 score aswell

  • It's not the most runs from one ball

  • World Record? lol last time i checked in guiness it was around 30 runs off 1 ball, because the fieldsman couldn't find the ball in long grass...

  • Nevermind, Dingho is probably right, 16 runs from a ball then...:p

  • I was run out for five from one ball...I was 18 inches short of an all-run 6..no over-throws either(down to fine leg..no fielder!..3..poor throw from fielder..2 more..then very good throw from close-in,after amazing series of fumbles..run out 5!).Can anyone beat that?

  • ya dinhgo is right but its 17 and it was by canada

  • there was.. a 16 run ball.. its in the guiness book of world records .. because the grass was like 30cm high.. lol

  • wtf...thats no record...how many times people have hit six of no balls....

  • That's not the point. In this case, 7 runs were credited to the batsman. Anyways, I had a question; how many runs can a batsman legitimately score off one delivery?

  • 12 if he hits the roof of a stadium type in shahid afridi 12 and watch it he hits 12 off 1 delivery

  • That's only in power cricket. Not proper cricket.

  • wat u mean by power cricket

    2020 n pro 40 n odis stuff like that

  • As many as you can run without being run out

  • That isn't a world record. the world record is like 13 runs or something around that

  • not a friggin record you!!!

  • yea thats nothin i ran 36 in my backyard test match.. they lost the ball

  • lol

  • aww.. thats cute

  • Typical Poms!

  • if the fielders just let the ball go to the boundary, even after the overthrow, won't it just count as a maximum of 4?... making the number of runs meaningless?

  • no its the runs taken plus the overthrows and if it crosses the boundary the runs scored pls four.

  • how's this 'foolish'? The throw was just too good. As a batsman you better not play a perfectly straight drive as it'll just hit the stumps and a fielder sometimes better not be too accurate like in this video.

  • It's foolish because there was no chance of a run out, and therefore no need to throw the ball with such force.

  • hahahaha thats hilarious

    flintoff was madddddd

  • Oh, I just found out how the 17 actually happened. The bowler bowled more than 1 illiegitimate ball.

Anyways, the most ive ever seen in a first class match without any penalties or overthrows on one single bowl is 11, had to hit it perfectly and both runners had to be very fast.

  • The most ever by a player was 12 runs...by Afridi!!

  • yeah but that was in a soccer stadium... and hitting the roof would give 12 runs

  • Ive also had a 29 playing a scrap game with my little cousins LMFAO.

  • The first class cricket record for the most runs on one ball is an astounding 17, WITHOUT an overthrow. Although I still can't see how the hell it happend...

  • I heard of that.

They were playing on a ground with extra long grass, and they literally lost the ball in the grass.

  • been done before ... a lot

  • wuts the signal for 7 rofl

  • rofl

  • not exactly a record but crap from pietrsen and jones
