I also appreciate that the man caught him and released him somewhere better. That is a beautiful thing, in my opinion. No need to kill the little guys...they are harmless, for the most part. :)

love armadillos, not only as a stand alone species of animal to look at, but they taste good as well. I'm a born and raise southern louisiana girl, and my family will live trap the ones that destroy their yard and generally we clean them and eat them. The meat breaks down like chicken when cooked (stringy) but has a distinct pork style flavor. Very good. Kinda a risk to eat given what they tend to carry (Leprosy) but so good.
