Technically they're Insurgents (much different to MEC), the map is Karbala which is based on a real location in Iraq. So it's quite reasonable to assume they are Iraqi insurgents.

It depends on the faction played on the map , marines uses M16A4 and us army (vid) uses m4

in PR nearly all kits have the same weapon not as in bf 2. A medic will have an M16 (M4 depend of the map) with or without Aimpoint but so will have an engeener , AT , AA some kit will have ACOG .

This is an excellent example of what PR is all aboput, i lmao when you couldnt arrest that Civi, and that Humvee nearly ran it over ! But seriously great teamwork and i loved the Apached airstrikes, just immense and great to watch, well done :D

this game is good and all but it kinda sad how many people think themselfs are soldiers just by playing this game.

nice teamwork though in real terms you would of been destroyed by enermy, the civvies you actually CAN shoot under ROE, if they are helping indirect mortors or enermy engage you.

still nice mod for a game though cannot really compare to real life.

i have battlefield 2 and was wondering, are all project reality matches like this? and are the civilians players?

i would love to play something like this. also, how long does a match take?

since you cannot code players, there are always going to be bad matches. but usually (matters what server) you'll get a good squad leader and have some good Teamwork going. look for the servers like "tactics and teamwork" and "tactical gamer"

you will get a decent match in almost any other server but usually not to the same degree. the servers above FORCE (in a good way) teamwork with strict rules, and around the clock moderation.

good luck, this mod has a high learning curve, take it slow.

The Civilians are an Insurgent class and act as a bit of a reconnaissance class representing civilians sympathetic to the insurgents cause. Naturally, shooting unarmed civilians--no matter if they are helping insurgents--is bad, but you can use the plastic restraints to "arrest" them (which basically consists of punching them), which gains you intelligence on enemy weapons caches as well.

I would explain more, but there is a limited character count, and all...
