@leoboxn Please accept my apologies for the delayed response. Eclipse offered an iPod adapter for your unit when they were still making aftermarket equipment. The part number was: iPC-106 but like the complete line of Eclipse products, it was discontinued. I'm sorry I don't have better news for you there. If you are able to find one, keep in mind; this older adapter may not be compatible with the newest generations of iPod/iPhones. HTH!--Crutchfield
If you bought your Eclipse from Crutchfield, you can call Tech Support at the number on your Crutchfield invoice. I’m certain they can help you get your CDs playing. One of the reasons to buy from Crutchfield.
If you bought it elsewhere, you can purchase our Tech Support. Call us for more details
Mr Ken, if i already have a preexisting bluetooth system in my jeep am i still forced to use eclipses cellphone mic ? I dont see why it wouldnt work i would just want to make sure before purchasing
This might work. Does your mic have the same 3.5mm connector? If so, you'll probably get it to work. Keep in mind, Eclipse designed their mic for their stereo, so there might also be something in the design that makes it superior to your existing mic for the AVN-726.
One last thing, Eclipse has left the aftermarket car stereo business, and we have sold out of most of our remaining Eclipse items. The AVN-726 was one of the first to run out, sorry.
I'm in Canada, province of Quebec in Montreal City. This unit interest me alot but I wonder if this fits on nissan versa 2009. Also. it can't seem to find it on crutchfield Canada. Am I missing something ?
Items on Crutchfield Canada are items we can ship to addresses in Canada. If it's not there, it's because our agreement with the vendor only allows us to sell that item to USA addresses.
hello again crutchfieldtv; i was finally able to get one... took some time but got it! I was wondering if you got a video installation or a manual to be able installing it on my versa 2009 hatchback.. thank you
I got one installed and everything seems to work except the phone through bluetooth. I can make a call and they can hear me just fine. I hear nothing. I CAN stream music through bluetooth. Do you know what my problem might be?

Right on, glad you found one, must be one of the last ones available, anywhere, ever. Good work.
You can find general "How to Install a Car Stereo" type videos at Crutchfield, and you can get an installation kit, wiring harness, and antenna adapter for your Versa. Your best bet is to call us, so we can go over your installation with you, help you get everything you'll need.
Hello mr Ken, I was able to get my avn726e working with the harness cable, antenna cable and crimp tools i bought from crutchfield; i'm sooooo happy with it, ands thank you for the tech support i got from you guys =). but I have one last issue to correct; There is actually no way for me to make phone calls on my receiver, it says no connection. What do I need to buy to make it works again (as on original versa 2009 bluetooth model. Thanks
The AVN726E has a female Type A USB port on a 5' pigtail on the rear panel. You can connect your iPod directly to the USB port using the white cable that came with your iPod (dock connector-to-USB) for audio only control
We have tested this with the iPhone 3G and we know it also charges the battery, sweet.
Why is this unit no longer available?

What Cars Will It Fit In ?
bryanrohnaldo 9 months ago
@bryanrohnaldo
If you have one and want to put it into a car, call us and we can tell you if it'll fit and what it'll take to get it in there.
If you don't have one, you may be out of luck since Eclipse stopped making aftermarket car stereo equipment.
Hope that helps, here's our number:

I've heard one of the problems you have with the navigation is updating the maps.

is it true that the navi only gives distances in km?
philboy521 2 years ago
Hi philboy,
No that's not true, you can select the units of measurement you prefer from the settings menu.
Sorry it took so long to reply, we've been incredibly busy over this holiday weekend. Thanks for your patience.
