@WaddyMuters You know that measuring climate by models is not the most accurate way to observe climate change, the numbers can be easily twisted and manipulated to get a point across when in fact it is not reality. It is better to observe actual evidence and most of the IPCC's findings are from models which should raise some questions. Btw Piers Corbyn is very knowledgable on the subject. And so u know most of the people on the warmist side aren't climate change scientists either.

I cannot believe people actually thumbed this up. Fact is, Monckton DID make many mistakes, he deluded people with false information, he is facing legal actions because many scientists he stated or cited, do not acknowledge the fact that he give statements out of context and manipulates data in a way that it seems to go to his favour. Why do people press like on a video that is made by a person that is full of lies. He is a politician not a scientist, he does not stand on any giant's shoulder.
Are you going to listen to a Lord that changes his arguments and tackles against climate change according to his audience (scientific audience, he pretends to be scientific, normal people he even never gives any scientific reference, he tackles this issue with politics and verbal attacks, not facts). He pretends to be this top scientist that rightfully stands out of the rest. However, Dr. Abraham does not need to pretend. He knows how to cite your work properly, he knows much about the principals involved in climate change and so on. He clearly provided evidence that Monckton misinterpreted the works of others. There are other presentations and even documentaries that show Moncktons reactions, when his work is debunked and it seems that he always tries to talk himself a way out of it.
Scientists have been out there collecting data, trying to get their head around on how to collect the data, getting funds, publishing, getting peer-reviewed etc. And along comes Monckton, this arrogant want to be scientist, and tells us, thy are all lying, all those scientists are wrong. When, in fact, he is the person who has misinterpreted lots of data sets. He made this issue politic instead of scientific. I have never heard of such a courtesy, he never published anything, how could he know?

I am currently attending the University of St. Thomas where I have heard him and colleagues speak on Climate Change, don't try to act like I am not educated on this topic. He is a meteorologist and astrophysicist who does not believe in man made global warming. He predicts the weather by observing the sun and his forecasts are ridiculously accurate. @WaddyMuters You know that measuring climate by models is not the most accurate way to observe climate change, the numbers can be easily twisted and manipulated to get a point across when in fact it is not reality. It is better to observe actual evidence and most of the IPCC's findings are from models which should raise some questions. Btw Piers Corbyn is very knowledgable on the subject. And so u know most of the people on the warmist side aren't climate change scientists either.

He pretends to be this top scientist that rightfully stands out of the rest. However, Dr. Abraham does not need to pretend. He knows how to cite your work properly, he knows much about the principals involved in climate change and so on. He clearly provided evidence that Monckton misinterpreted the works of others. There are other presentations and even documentaries that show Moncktons reactions, when his work is debunked and it seems that he always tries to talk himself a way out of it.

Scientists have been out there collecting data, trying to get their head around on how to collect the data, getting funds, publishing, getting peer-reviewed etc. And along comes Monckton, this arrogant want to be scientist, and tells us, thy are all lying, all those scientists are wrong. He is working towards stopping hypothetical wars by showing hypothetical polar bears (that aren't going extinct) floating on shrinking icebergs, and he gets to live a lifestyle he wants to deny 99.999% of the world because he's so very important.

Awarding Al Gore and the IPCC the nobel peace prize is about raising awareness about an effort to mitigate violent conflict in the world. The reason why I attacked conspiracy theorists in my original post is that to fake an entire scientific field is about as hard as breaking the laws of physics themselves. He's being much nicer than he was in his written rebuttal. After whining about Abraham being part of a "Backward Bible College, his rebuttal sums up his argument this way: 1). He took an elemental energy equation (Stefan-Boltzman equation), and couldn't see how it relates it to AGW.
2). He stood by his false assertion that Al Gore was at odds with IPCC's finding on sea level rise.

Tried to watch this but found myself shouting 'come on, come on'. I don't care about his fragile ego and his stunning double standards (I am getting very sure Monckton is a psychopath) just get on with it Monckton. But just prior we had "climategate" that proved that the research had been massaged. The whole thing was a farce. I agree that pollution and industry needs curbs. But there are thousands of other people who read these comments. That is the audience I'm writing for. Maybe a few of those will end up taking the time to read some of the scientific literature and make a rational determination on this issue rather than thinking this is some crazy Marxist takeover of the world.
