No I have not been in the woods yet. God willing, exactly 2 weeks from today, Oct 20 gonna go Hog Zoning with The Deep Fried King to hopefully Whack & Stack some hogs. Then 2 wks after that when the Tx Gun season starts, Grande Hunts will debut in the Tx Hill Country. Man I can't wait. I love to see different methods of hunting like you slug rt here. Hopefully when I go Hog Zoning I'll be able to try my new Cross bow! Stay tuned & keep up your vids in the woods.

@LoneStarCreekRanch thanks robert! no, this was at our lease up the road. yeah, i've been wanting to get a deer with a slug just to do it, as you can see i shouldn't have to worry about a far shot, lol.
congrats brother! nice to see all my hunting channels are getting some deer down early in the season, we still have 10 days before our opening weekend, need it too! bow is in need of some major tuning, was out two arrows today while target shooting, and i splintered one of them, one of the fletchings flew off mid flight, smacked a rock and that was game over, but thats what the carbon arrow shafts are made for, rather be out an arrow than have a deflection and something else happen
@fracwilt yea i just shot a quick vid explaining what happened, and showing the one arrow the fletching came off, at 7 bucks a pop for an arrow, this shit is just unacceptable! what if it was not my practice arrow the fletching came off of in mid flight but rather one i use when iam hunting? there is no refund that can recover from blowing a shot on getting a deer, makes me reconsider even using carbon express arrows this season all together, the archery shop will be getting a call tomorrow
