We're very proud of our airport. Still not the busiest even in the state, but plenty of room for expansion and with the metro population approaching a million in the near future it will be ready. Last I checked right around a dozen non-stop destinations now. But who's counting?
i was there 4 days ago, it' s a small airport but very nice and clean, very modern construction. But it's very expensive to take a plane to this airport, does anybody know why?
@manzanaresantonio I wish I knew why. I know a bunch of people that drive to CLT and it is heartbreaking to me when the airport is as lovely as it is that locals aren't using it. Airlines determine airfares and that regrettably puts some airports at a price disadvantage...
@peakster753 I've been there twice since the last message, a very beautiful airport, but the only reason why I flight from this airport, it's because my friend works for DELTA airlines and I get the tickets extremely cheap, if not I would be flying to Charlotte or Charleston, because the prices can be rediculous ~ $400 to$ 1,080 round trip from New Orleans.

How were you able to film in the airport without getting caught. Is filming prohibited in the airport. If I was there, I would be too scared to film there because of the security telling me not to film. I am just wondering.
i worked that us airways plane that day in the video. i remember bc either you or someone else was walking around the gate area that day with thier phone up taking pictures i thought. and yeah i think it is a nice airport. nice clean..
thx for the upload, I always wanted to see the inside of KCAE airport. I agree with you 100% about how the airport is like a city because last year I flew from Charlotte to New York and that airport is like a mall with all the places to eat and stores to go into its really nice.
