  • He really plays on the public not picking up his inconsistencies doesn't he? If coals energy generation goes from 80% to 10% it's doing it for a reason - because that energy is coming from other sources which means the jobs move to those new energy industries. It's called a "transition", derrrrp.

  • @brentoneccles - that's it exactly.

Tony Abbott lies, deceives, distorts and flip flops around and he expects no-one to notice.

As for the coal industry, Tony Abbott would rather focus on an industry that pollutes instead of focusing on newer industries and making Australia a leader in the renewable energy sector.

He doesn't understand that we can have both a coal industry (steel manufacturing) and a renewable energy sector that generates jobs, wealth and helps reduce pollution.

  • It's alwise the left wing women who are the most bitter of them all. She asked a question, she got an answer yet all she could do was spill bile from her lips.

    What can you expect.

  • @SSBull900 - Bile? No. What she did was call Tony Abbott out on his BS and he knew it.

  • WHO'S FOOLING WHO TONY? YOU ARE SUCH A LIAR AND SPIN MERCHANT. HOW CAN ANYONE SEE YOU ARE A PM..YOU HAVE NOTHING!! JUST EMPTY MINDLESS REPETITIVE RHETORIC AND BILLIONS OF DOLLARS FROM THE MINING INDUSTRY TO SPREAD YOUR FEAR MONGERING LIES THROUGHOUT THE NATION. YOU ARE A DISGRACE TO AUSTRALIAN POLITICAL LIFE AND I HOPE PEOPLE WAKE UP TO YOU SOONER RATHER THAN TOO LATE. YOU COMPLETELY IGNORED HER QUESTION AND YOU SPIN YOUR REPLIES WITH NOTHING BUT EMPTY MINDLESS SOUND BITES. GO AWAY TONY ABBOTT!

  • He's a spin master sexist pig! Anyone with a can debunk Abbott..he's a clown.

  • to be honest all politicians are phoneys, and I dont think this carbon tax will fix up the climate change issue.

  • According to Sky News, the woman asking the question has a son working in the coal industry at Mt Isa. She is a staunch Liberal voter who was in disbelief when he told her he'd be voting ALP because of false claims by Abbott on the future of the coal industry in Queensland and his direct action policy.

She went to this forum to challenge Abbott on the information he'd given her. When they asked what she thought of Abbott's response after the forum, she said she would be changing her vote ...

  • I think There could be another hanged parlement at the next election.

A lot of pressure will be off Labor as the Carbon tax will in force already by that time.

The liberals will run with anything tax wise already in place and will not remove it. Removing it would be stupid once it is in place as the set up costs and shut down costs would be huge. Your last post was interesting I never knew any of that but i would not read a book on any of them.

  • @Stringyheads - if Abbott (or the Liberals without Abbott as their leader) get in at the next election, it will be very interesting to see what they do with the carbon tax.

Like you, I suspect they will keep it.

I also hope they keep going with the NBN, which despite some mixed signals from Turnbull, I suspect he also supports.

Certainly, there are plenty of small businesses that will thrive with faster internet speeds (quite a few of my customers need fast speeds to keep up with overseas).

  • At the House of representitives you see on TV Tony Abbot has a bad habbit of swinging the chair and turning his back to the opposition whilst they speak or try to answer a question. This shows a great sign of weakness and is not the charracter of a true leader in my opinion. You rarley see Julia Gillard do this i think its a quallity in her as far a debating gose. Saying that it dose not make up for the other flaws she has. Its embarracing to watch our goverment perform the way they do on TV.

  • @Stringyheads - you're not wrong - it really is embarrassing to think that they - our elected officials - act like 4 year olds.

Hmm, I'm not even sure that 4 year olds act like they do.

It's a real shame that we don't have a system where we vote individuals into portfolios instead of political parties.

That way, the person who we feel would do the best job should be put into that position of power - irrespective of which party - if any - they belong to.

    Australia first, not politics.

  • @Stringyheads - there are a couple of really good books about Abbott.

The best book is "Latham and Abbott" by Michael Duffy.

It covers the backgrounds of both including their time at Uni, where both could be described as thugs.

Peter Costello's book also includes a few lines about Abbott being part of a group that was going to dump Howard before the 2007 election - Abbott chickened out.

It also tells how Abbott wanted all power lines in his electorate buried - at a cost to taxpayers.

  • There's a lot of evidence "out there" coming to light suggesting that a great number of politicians around the world are doing the bidding of the Elite members of government, without questioning the legalities and ethical conclusions of their actions. Because these brainwashed and blackmailed hand picked maiden puppets of the powerful elite have some publicly detrimental secrets hidden in their own closets they do as they're told because they want their families 'safe' from unexpected accidents.

  • @MrWJP58 - I'd love to see some definitive proof of your claims.

The Conspiracy folks who profit from all of this do it by planting seeds in the minds of those who listen, but they never, ever provide definitive proof.

Until they do, I'm going to continue to question their claims.

  • @phonytonyabbott Well, so far you've been the only one here asking for me to provide you with the proof of what I say. If you are that blind that you can't see and figure things out for yourself then what hope is there of anyone showing you anything. If you're so cleaver and think you understand politics and claim there's nothing amiss in the world then no one can help you to see anything unless you Unplug your mind, reassess your ideas and beliefs and start seeking the truth.

  • @MrWJP58 - I can see and figure things out for myself - that's why most conspiracy theories are just that - theories.

The point is when you start delving into the guts of most conspiracy theories, they start falling apart.

Yes, there is sometimes some elements of truth, but it's a clever ruse to distract you from the false information.

Yes, Governments lie to us and there are evil people everywhere.

    That is a fact.

  • @MrWJP58 - [ - continued - ]

I started questioning things long before YouTube, and mainstream access to the Internet.

For example, I realised that the first Gulf War was based on lies from the first Bush administration when I discovered the truth about "Nurse Nayirah".

Until then I had thought that the US was a great country that would do no wrong.

My eyes and ears are always open, always questioning what happens around me.

    [ - to be continued - ]

  • @MrWJP58 - [ - continued - ]

That's part of the reason why I distrust Tony Abbott so much - because I've studied him over many years and I know what he's like.

As a bloke (outside of politics), he is apparently quite decent - as a politician, he is not to be trusted one little bit.

    Not ONE little bit.

I do the same thing when I learn about conspiracy theories.

I study them, I dissect them, and that's how I decide whether they are real or not.

    [ - to be continued - ]

  • @MrWJP58 - [ - continued - ]

There are plenty of people who make LOTS of money from conspiracy theories.

You may notice that in my videos, I ALWAYS include sources - including video, screen captures and links when they are relevant.

    Why do I do this?

To allow people to watch, listen and read so that they can make their own judgements about Tony Abbott - so that they can decide.

I'm just a person who prefers facts over theories - and who distrusts Tony Abbott immensely. :-)

  • @MrWJP58 - oh, and sorry about the order of the posts - best to read from bottom up.

  • When the tax buck is passed - from the coal industry in lieu of carbon tax to the government purse - the power companies get slugged with a higher production price which is then recouped by siphoning it off from the public purse. So the big corporate business get their cut, their government partnership gets its cut and our wallets are left with slave coupons. All world governments have been infiltrated and hijacked by an extended royal criminal mafia family who now control the entire world. 666

  • @MrWJP58 - so, you're telling me it's all part of some big global conspiracy?

Hmmmm - sorry - but I'm a little tired of hearing that everything is a conspiracy.

I think it's time people started questioning conspiracies.

And let's face it, there are plenty of people making money from conspiracy theories.

Are they also part of some "extended royal criminal mafia family who now control the entire world"?

If I was to believe you, that answer would also be yes.

    So, who is playing you?

  • @phonytonyabbott Have you ever bothered to investigate any of these conspiracy claims to see for yourself whether or not they have any foundation of truth in them? Or do you feel more comfortable to stay in your own conclusive world of ignorance?

  • @MrWJP58 - yep, I've watched them, I've read them and I've got mates into them - but it doesn't mean they are real.

And like I said, there are plenty of people who are making money out of conspiracy theories (books, videos, websites, radio stations, tv shows etc etc) that you really need to start wondering whether this is just some big money making venture for some.

I have more belief in that then "extended royal criminal mafia" families.

  • @phonytonyabbott It takes me an awful lot of my own searching and researching, observation and deductions to make up my mind on any event concerning conspiracy theories. I don't just conclude something must be true because a bunch of conspiracy theorists say so. I follow their leads, find my own, I read documents from reliable and trusted sources concerning government policies and I overlay my findings to the conspiracy and from that draw my own conclusions. The evidence speaks for itself.

  • @phonytonyabbott If you can't see that there's a very dark power which has taken hold of all the world's affairs, guiding policies and constructing strategic wars to control the global machine you are asleep. If you think everything is just plodding along and it's nature taking its course you are asleep. If you think it's impossible for a group of people sharing common bloodline ancestors and accumulated wealth aren't capable of plotting against anyone to acquire their property you're asleep.

  • Yes fair call but Tony Abbot is Joe Hocky's puppet. Joe Hocky and the liberals put budgets into surplus and gives business confidence in turn more jobs are created Generaly speaking. Alot of mining projects went on hold because of labor.

This is only one angle. Vote for who you like everyone has their own reasons for voting some don't even vote.

  • @Stringyheads - I disagree about Joe Hockey, and particularly about Abbott being a puppet of Hockey.

Hockey has received a fair bit of criticism from business leaders, and I personally think that neither Hockey nor Robb are up to the job.

This can be evidenced by their costings problems last year, where both Hockey and Robb flat out lied to the Australian public saying that their costings had been audited properly.

The same can be said of the 2010 budget reply, which was a shambles.

  • @Stringyheads - [part 2].

Hockey has never been in a position to put any budget into surplus.

As you said, the Liberals have, but they did it by getting rid of public servants (only to hire more later on), selling off public assets, cutting funding to important programs and ride a resource boom.

It is a lie for Liberals to say that Labor have never produced a budget surplus - Keating delivered one in 1989-90 (Google it).

After that, Australia was hit by the international recession.

  • @phonytonyabbott Good valid points and plausable, They also didn't inherit a war against terroism or face 3 major natural desasters im including the Cristchurch one here as we helped in it as well. Thanks for your response.

  • @Stringyheads - not sure what happened, but I didn't see your posts from a couple of days ago - only just saw them today, otherwise I would have responded sooner. Apologies for that.

I came across a comment by Nationals Senator, Ron Boswell that said in his 71 years, Labor had only delivered 6 budget surpluses, an average of 1 every 12 years.

Considering Labor had only been in power for approx 20 of those years, that's a budget surplus (on average) every 3.33 years based on what Boswell said

  • @Stringyheads - ooooooops!!!!!!

Apologies, however I made a mistake in the number of years that Labor has been in power over Ron Boswell's lifetime.

It isn't 20 - it's more like 28 (unless I've stuffed up again, which is possible).

    I miscalculated two periods of time - 41to 49, and 83 to 96.

That makes it an average of a budget surplus every 4.66 years and not every 3.33 years as I had stated.

Once again, apologies - I took the years from a website and somehow confused myself.

  • @phonytonyabbott Im not that onto exact figures and dates and maybe some stuuf i write has flaws but if you don't get whats on your mind out there how would one find out who to vote otherwise. This is probably one of the best threads on youtube in relation to this subject. The reason i say that is there isn't any slanging its purly based on individual thoughts. Thanks for your repley.

  • @Stringyheads - I couldn't agree more with you.

Everyone has a right to an opinion and we're not always going to agree, but at the end of the day, there's no use in engaging in slanging matches.

At the end of the day, it's just politics, and all politicians make mistakes that impact on us.

A big thanks to you as well - it's been good.

  • I only ever voted labor because I was union but they now take back handers off big companies and don't look after workers unless its a big profile media stunt.

To hell with labor and Unions.

  • @Stringyheads - yes, Labor have certainly lost their way (the Liberals as well).

The purpose of these videos isn't to promote one party over another - it's to expose Tony Abbott for what he really is - a liar, a hypocrite and a deceiver - someone that will say and do anything to get into power.

I've only voted for Labor once since 1994, and that was because I didn't want my vote going towards Tony Abbott.

If the Liberals replaced him with Turnbull, they would more than likely get my vote.

  • The Knee jerk reaction i mention as i try to write it refers to the Cattle trade industry crisis Please read a bit slower and maybe i should have put it another way. All the same thanks for your reply, Abbots a knucklehead I don't like either of them. But the way the Labor party spent the surplus Liberal left behind and lied about alot of promises and kicked out Rudd and give away land to mining companys for 1$ for 70,000 Hectares NSW and have public servents living in Million $ homes for $1pm.

  • @Stringyheads - I agree that it was a knee jerk reaction and should have been handled better.

Just remember that if the Gov dept. responsible had been doing their job, it would never have happened in the first place.

Gillard has been a big disappointment, but I will never vote for the Liberals while Abbott is their leader.

Having said that, she's also in a very difficult situation and having to make compromises to get things done.

Abbott would have had to do the same if he had formed Gov.

  • Comment removed

  • We cant afford a carbon tax in a down ecconomy and with Americas ecconomy criisis around the corner. Not to mention all the natural desasters the country has faced including the cattle industry crissis Labor has created on a knee jerk reaction.

  • @Stringyheads - the topic of a carbon tax or an ETS is not new and nor is it a knee jerk reaction. It is something that was discussed when John Howard was in Government.

In 2009 Tony Abbott even said that Rudd had a mandate to implement an ETS and Abbott even urged his Liberal colleagues to support Rudd's ETS.

Abbott even supported a carbon tax in 2009 while the shadow of the GFC was still hanging over us.

I would hope that you think the same thing about Abbott's big new tax - the PPL.
