Gene Purling definitely arranged the heck out of this...We sang this in my collegiate choir at UAPB I love this version brought back memories good job guys
I love the ending soooo much. BUT there is an alto that sticks out and is singing the 3rd just a little under the pitch, its supposed to be an F# I'm assuming. Everyone else is defintely in a D maj chord...
Everything else is done very well to college A cappella standards
Absolutely outstanding! I am a huge Singers Unlimited fan, and degrees choral director, and I've rarely heard such impeccable intonation, balance and blend. It seemed as though each singer was mikes, to achieve such great balance. Obviously an excellent director, and brilliant talent in the choir. Makes me remember the days...
I was there for this performance, and this was the best three song set that I've heard in a long time...This ballad was just incredibly sung. USC got nearly perfect scores for this performance, and it was obviously deserved.
A Gene Puerling masterpiece executed in perfect harmony by a talented group of artists who interrupted the true emotional feeling of this song. BRAVO!
I got to see this live at the ICCA finals... I rarely give standing ovations (just how I roll), and certainly not to the second song in a competition set. This was absolutely elegant, though. The SoCal VoCals really set the bar with this set. Congrats on being awesome!

Yeah I just found that puerling did it. And here I was thinking one of the kids did this arrangement. How sick would that have been?

They'd have an uber eccentric prodigy on their hands!

Wow... gorgeous. Funny thing, I could sense elements of Westminster Chorus in the performance.
