Thing is, a normally tuned guitar can't be true to the original. This song (and many other in the Analord series) are using microtonal tunings, i.e. tunings that are between the notes in the Western 12 tone scale that we're used ti. (Most likely, Aphex simply dialed them in on an analogue sequencer which is using knobs.) Good playing nonetheless.

Great stuff mate:) but if u want a tip to get better sound on your mp3

1. the built in (dont know if u have that) pluss a mic that record the room

or 2. one close to the guitar, place it between the sound hole and the neck

and one that stands like 2 meters from u recording the room.

just saying because its really hard to hear the low notes when u get exsited now:P

I kind of gathered a few years back that PWSteal.Ldpinch.D was most probably made to sound like a typical name of a Virus for Windows. It never occurred to me that it was a real Virus/Trojan horse released in Feb of 2005. That aside, this is a great interpretation. Thanks for sharing.
