like a week ago i was sitting in my room and my bro woke up, he started talking to me (i was playing pearl and ev training gengar on speed), when i beat a staravia, a shiny roselia popped up and i didn`t even notice and i was about to faint it, except right before i clicked an attack i looked at the screen and saw a roselia with purple and black roses (they`re my fav colour), so i caught it

SRed, REed, and hatched shinnies are hard to come by 'cause the odds of find one is 8 in 65536 or 1 in 8192, so you'll need to hit the lottery or get struck by lightning and you're not the only one. The only way to increase your chances is by chaining with the poke radar and by breeding/hatching using the masuda method. I wish you luck.

@cj68plus1 you need to talk to Backlot the ower of the trophy garden and listen to him rant about rare pokemon in his garden. He'll tell you a different kind once a day, but if you can't wait, save before you talk to him and soft reset/SR the game if it's not the one you want. There can be only 2 rare pokemon at any given time, the 3rd time you talk to him it will replace the 1st pokemon and so on and so fourth. Let me know on my channel comments if it worked for you. @iMnayar if you see a burst of stars when it come to battle, then it's a shiny. You can also check to see the summary and if you see a red star on the picture icon, then it's a shiny. Let me know if you have a shiny on my channel comments.

@Orangepod2014 trophy garden pokemon have a 5 percent encounter rate so you have to be patient. You can hold 2 different pokemon in the trophy garden for as long as you want. The 1st two times you talk to him, those two will stay and on the 3rd time it will replace the 1st pokemon the owner mentions and so on and so fourth. Good luck.

My record chain so fair is 19 and then it just randomly ended... kinda ticked me off but I bet that happens a lot lol. I've filmed tons of shiny patches in all weather conditions including in a blizzard and I've started to film extra battles after catching a shiny so that there's no doubt at all. @SonicMan125 you have to go to the trophy garden and talk to the guy in the mansion about his garden, he will go on to talk about how a pokemon kissed his foot and his butler will tell the guy that the pokemon isn't natural to his garden and they will walk out of the room (a new one will appear everyday, it is by chance which new one will appear after talking to him). So you dick around with this for several days until porygons appear. finally, you walk in garden forever until you find it

@SydneyFan101 yes you need, otherwise you will battle other pokemons while chaining, then your chain will brake.

@SydneyFan101 You do need a whole lot of repels, because if your chain breaks you can start all over again, and your chain breaks when you see a pokemon other than the one you're hunting for. Also remember you have a higher chance of meeting the same pokemon again by going into the moving grass furthest away. If you get like, glitters or something then you can be sure there's going to be a shiny there. Good luck!
