Fluoroscopes didn't put off *that* much radiation... I mean, yeah, this was a bit long for 'fun' exposures, but the big danger was to the tech who got to sit behind the screen all day seeing numerous patients. What the b/w footage doesn't show is the horrifying neon green color of the fluorescent screen!

I don't think the last woman was actually being xrayed, xrays show bones, that didn't. The first 2 were having flouroscopy which uses SO MUCH radiation. Those ladies would likely have ended up with some nasty cancers from that...

The song reminded me of something you'd see in a Disney princess movie of that era. Like Snow White, for instance (although that was 1937).
