Shall I concentrate on suspension and breaks first. Its kinda a project car but love my car but Im not that great when it comes to knowing where to start with it.

hmmm, celicas are hard because you rarely see them pushing high end hp. I would concentrate on suspension and building stability (sways and bushings etc) before any HP modification. Get the best tires and if you plan on tracking, get good brakes. I don't know much about celicas, but good luck.

thanks well with cars there's always someone quicker then you so just aim for what car you have and what you want. I agree celica's are wank compared to other cars but it makes me feel great kicking about the corners. The engines do require high revs to get power. I've already booked my car in to get Tein suspension and brembo break pads that alones costing me £3500 so it aint cheap. For me its a month by month process. Set yourself a goal and gradually reach your desired power

You can hear the tyres on second gear when the turbo kicks in. It sure has a lat of lag. If you kill all that lag, you'll drop a lot more for sure. With some desent pair of rear tyres of course

Two things wrong with this car:

1. Tires! You need tires with better profile

2. If you have stock LSD loose it. Get a 40% lockup diff because this 25% lock up is not good enough
