When you've worked with older people for so long that you're use to how they are you stop realizing that they're a lot like children and that children are like them. They both need time and paitence and love because one day they wont be there when you need them. Long story short: Don't take either for granted. Always make time to spend with both and always make sure they know they are loved no matter what. One day they might not be there when you need them. <3

I cried so hard. I'm a CNA and i worked with the elderly. When my grandmother had a stroke she cant do much of her daily living by herself so I help her, she cant speak anymore either. I quit my other job just to help her. She is my hero and I love her so so much.

I thank you for posting this video. Now I'll write it down, post it on my wall, read it whenever I'm pset, and think of my mom and dad and how much they have been for me and everything they did for me. my parents are the single most important people in my life. Without them I can truly say that I would break and crumble. I dont know how I will possibly handle their passing when the time comes, but when it does I can only hope they knew how much I love and need them. My parents are older and I know they cant stay with me forever, but Im not ready. Everytime I leave their house I make a point of telling them I love them and to be safe. Each time I fear it will be the last. Thank you for posting.

Yes, don't take your parents for granted. Everybody dies and if you still have time with them show them and tell them that you love them because sometimes their departure comes fast and unexpected.

i always take my parents for granted but since i watched this i think i changed because they help me with ever thing and because they yell it us is because they care and when my moms dad was sick we toke care of him for like 5 years and then he went to his old home and lived there for about 4 years and grew old and got sick and died at 80 I MISS YOU GRMPA AND GRAMA AND I WILL DO THIS FOR MY PARENTS JUST LIKE MY MOM DID FOR ME AND TO HER PARENTS I LOVE YOU MOM AND DAD

See, I've been a CNA for awhile and whenever I hear a fellow coworker telling someone that they stink and it's time to get a shower, I tell them to shut the hell up, they smell like ass too. When I see someone plug their nose because a gentleman's incontinence, I tell them to get over it and wear a damn mask and I get in response, "What? He's senile". HE CAN STILL SEE YOU! It's rediculous sometimes how many people don't think about other's feelings.

when it was finished i had a sniffy nose and the top part of my blanket covering my mouth so my mom wouldnt hear and ask whats wrong and to wipe my tears.thanks for posting this.i love my parents and there are always there for you for ANYTHING! homework,boy problems,a time where u fall and cry.i love you mom and i hope that when god comes to get us on judgement day we'll still be together with the rest of you family.

I wish I could take care of my mom. She died when I was 9... I wish I was old enough to take care of her then and get to know her. I lost my chance... Please ever boy and girl... no matter how much you and your mom fight or whatever please say I love you everyday and every chance you get... I hate to say it.. but one day... she will be gone.
