yep, its true. the title of the vid is wrong... its only snake, no solid snake. the snake of the ssbb is a fusion betwen young big boss and solid snake. i hate ppl that say thats solid snake.

i don't think it is a fusion of young big boss and solid snake, becuase all his codec calls go to Otacon, Mei Ling and the Colonel. The only thing that makes him somewhat like naked snake is the fact he is wereing camo instead of the sneking suit. Everything else clearly defines him as Solid Snake. And I wouldn't have it any other way :D

(correction, his alternate costumes are camo, his primary is the sneaking suit, but still, that just makes him more solid snake and less naked snake...although I have to admit naked snake was BAMF)

You do know that the first Metal Gear with Snake came on the nintendo consol before the first playstation was ever made.

And here is something to burst your bubble, the creators of snake actually begged nintendo to allow him to appear in SSBB, but he was suppose to be on SSBM, but they got to far in production of the game so that's why they allowed him to appear on SSBB.

I don't think they begged for him to get into SSBB, because Snake is really populaire and Kojima isn't a begger...Kojima was asked if snake could get into SSBB (I hate SSBB and Wii unless you like sporting infront of the tv(aka no social life)) besides that all Snake came into this Game because they thought a lot people that own a PS3 and Wii would buy it.

Well yea maybe claiming that he begged was maybe over the top, he really did ask the developers of Super Smash Brothers Series if he could be in the game, though Melee was to far in production they had to decline, but which is why snake is in the latest installment of Super Smash Brothers. :)

And its a fact that it was Hideo Kojima who asked.

If you look real close at the end of the video, it's copyrighted for 2006! Wasn't that the same year they released the Wii? So this game has been in production for a long long time then.... wow.
