Really, we'll never find out who it is, every one of the main characters has been hurt or has had someone they care about hurt by a Gossip Girl blast so I really don't think it could be any of them. And when you think about it, they all are too busy to be constantly sifting throught the amount of tips gossip girl receives to be her.

The whole point of Gossip girl is that she's the Greek chorus, her identity was never revealed in the books and it's doubtful it'll be revealed here.
