Pretty Cool lesson here, Covers the topic quite well. Ive just made a bunch of detailed courses for beginners and advanced guitarists that you might be interested in. Check it out! would love to know what you and anyone watching this video thinks. Its totally free, and i mean TOTALLY
Can anyone recommend me some reliable guitar loops? i am looking for one for my playing. I am not sure how much one costs or the "Going Rate" of these loops since i have never owned one.
I could not disagree more with playing with a thin pick, especially for beginers. It just trains really bad habits. Anything below 1mm for acoustic is pretty bad, you can get away with thinner on electric without developing bad habits, but seriously learning with .71 nylon or something paperry like that is just terrible.
Tortex are a litte different- a .71 tortex is equivalent to about a .9 normal pick, or a .88 tortex to a 1.1 normal pick, but still guys don't play with paper rubbish!

i've got strap locks on my les paul but one of them still slips out, i dontknow if the grooves of the lock have worn off or wut but it's really annoying
They cost about 16€ and these ones are normal straps with a clip which avoids that you're guitar falls down. Cheach them out. I never had a problem with them.
Thank you, Justin, this was very instructive. These are just the accessories I have (the categories, I mean, not the exact makes, of course) -- apart from the displa book and the music stand which have never occurred to me before but they will be the next on my list when my pocket begins to itch for a "little something" to "improve" my playing :)

It would be .88 because 88mm is 8.8 centimeters and that's quite thick

£10 is more than $20.
However, those strap locks (Schaller's) cost less in the U.S. They're about $15.

thicker straps are better for heavy guitars than padded just bc it distributes the weight
ChokeYouu 2 years ago
Why not double down?
My Strat strap is 2½" wide and padded.

is that any tools to wear on your fingers to strum ? or pluck?
enghui91 2 years ago
there are finger picks that you slide on the tips of your fingers an there is also a thumb pick, which, you guessed it, slides onto your thumb...
