  • Everything felt sluggish. THis could be due to lac of practice, or location difficulties. To make a good fight you have to be fast. I mean real fast. I mean Ryan Wieber fast.

  • The credits were too long, less yakin more attackin.

  • Holy Shit! This is awesome!

  • 1:34, random hiker.

  • Fight missing a great deal of movement and of rhythm and the worst it is because we see a walker by the beginning. Otherwise good well context and good special effects. I'm french sorry for my bad english.

  • Good opening, I can give it that much credit. Your two protagonists felt like a team with the cross-blade ignition, so you could make a hell of a trailer out of it, the location was outstanding with the exception of reliable footing due to the grade of the hill, caution reduced your performance.

Overall, the fight was just too slow and the teamwork evaporated, the fight became less engaging, but kudos for leaving the friend there to rot on the trail, LOL.

    Hope you keep posting fights.

  • Thumbs up for leaving your dead friend to rot in the middle of nowhere!!! :D

  • nerds.

  • lol...2.36...i thought he wanted to do a Force Jump

  • Great place but poor fight!

  • Is this video has to do with landscaping?....because it is awesome the view, but the fight is a piece of sh....! Too slow :(

  • the backround was amazing i suggest doing something to get rid of the wind sound other than that nice job!

  • Amazing Work Are you guy that got stab in white t shirt ?

  • some random dude is hiking in the background 1:34

  • ur fighting is too slow, it needs to be alot faster and there are several times wen your guys just turn and withdraw from thwe fight for no reason wen there are some obvious openings for an attack

  • Gay.

  • nice vid: amazing location and good effects, i would just say to try and get some better choreography, maybe spend some more time into it

  • 3:04 and 1:34 I love how there is a random hiker in the background watching XD

  • hey guys it's awesome

10/10 dude and choosing the old theme song of cristian when he was on tna it'S really cool

  • Not bad. I like all the force powers' FX. My only problem, it looks like you all hesitated quite a bit. Next time be sure to practice it until you can do it without even thinking about it; just do it. Other than that, good job; work on perfecting your moves and keep 'em comin.

  • if their invincible how the fuck did the 2 die?

  • 2:34 lol at ridiculous running, Even a Jedi knows you're not supposed to run with your saber ignited.

  • Way to have two guys wearing the exact same all black outfit...

  • nice fight, 1:35 who's that guy on the right? master yoda?

  • Nice Vid, I think u guys need some actting and fighting classes but I also dont think thats what u realy want to show with this vid. Thanks I like it =D

  • Comment removed

  • 1:35 look at the back black guy, one man walking to the mountain =D

  • wow american landscapes are beautiful

  • @fartsam08

    umm its in canada

  • did anyone notice the hiker at 1:35

  • at 1:42 it would be hilarious if he opened it the wrong way

  • work on your form i.e. stance, balance, technique and this could be a really good film. A lot of parts looked very awkward and looked like you were loosing your balance. Good job though, just giving constructive criticism, i know your not a neo or a jackie chan, just saying practice your form. :)

  • lol 2:24 forgot the sound affect

  • @Pobles8 actually no, i didn't. I edited in 5.1 sound, and youtube only plays stereo, so there are actual several sounds missing throughout the clip. An error on my part, however I didn't actually forget the sound.

  • You should practise a Lot for this, @theunholybudders =)

Your Moves are pretty nice, but if you practise it sometimes, you could do it much faster. You are not quite bad already, please keep practising and you will be able to do even more amazing Videos! ; )

  • nothing says evil like a black shirt and sunglasses lol

  • they one guy saved his life and he dose not even check him ...bad

  • true......

  • cool with christian cage music

  • nice animation sound was off at a couple of spots but all in all it was cool

  • nice job but you were moving pretty slow

  • it seemed like you were missing some sound effects. but good job.

  • I quite like this; the sabers were roto'ed well; sound effects were ok (a few missed clashes and the sabers held together produced an annoying repetitive sound), and choreo was ok too, but as some have said, a tad slow, then again, on such unstable terrain, it'd've probably been too dangerous to do it faster... 4/5 (and hi to a fellow randomsaber-er :D)

  • that video is cool, you should make one show how you did the effects.

  • pretty good 4/5 the fighting was alittle slow and what the saber hilt's looked like made me mad lol

  • Dude just leaves his hommie just like that yo??!

  • NOt the best one i've ever seen, but pretty good. Great Location!

  • 5 stars for the background!

  • amazing atmosphare !

  • at 3:21 at lest you guys should made more look like him falling down cuz he look like he just jump down over all nice lightsaber duel vid 4/5

  • weak

  • pretty cool :)

    I like it..

  • what is the name of the music during the fighting parts

  • It's a song used by Christian Cage a few years back in the WWE. I've modified it to be longer myself, but it's originally a remastered version of the song "My Last Breath" by Evanescence.

  • thanks

  • lmao he just chucked the saber to him 1:42

  • oh my gawd!!! you ruined it for me!!!

  • Great duel guys and great location, it's beautiful! Keep up the good work.

  • simply awesome. I like how the guy just left his ally's dead body and didn't do anything with it.

  • Wow...the guy who lived looks like my friend Brad Whitehead, lol.

  • Darth Baddie in his Wal-mart shoes....i thought sith were powerful not pooooooooooooooor

  • where was that filmed? all it says in the credits is that it took you 2 hours to hike to your location and that you camped for 2 days.

  • Filmed on a ridge about halfway up Mt. Indefatigable in K-Country.

  • and where is that?

  • it's in the rocky mountains, about an hour and a half from Calgary.

  • ah... canada.

  • The music is actually Evanesance, Instrumental.

  • WRONG!

It's called "Just Close Your Eyes", by Story of the Year.

  • Oops, sorry that's his new music.

This song is an instrumental remix of the song, "My Last Breath" by Evanesance.

  • Whats the song name???

  • can't remember exactly what, but it's a modified version of Christian's (TNA Wrestling) entrance music.

  • also if you get a chance can you check out my star wars videos

  • its pretty good the effects are the best part the fighting was a little slow 4/5 stars

  • meh, it is good but I have seen better. The scenery made it much nicer, and the effects were good. The coreography was a little slow for my tastes, but good

  • It took you a fucking YEAR to make THIS!!??? I mean it's awesome! but a more than a year!?!

  • I didn't work on it full time or even part time like most people do. Plus I did a lot of extra playing around, and didn't even work on it for a couple months.

  • hell yea that shit rocked!

  • looooool ! there is a man behind the sith at 1m38 !! he is out of the movie !! But it's a very nice job ! GG guys

  • no...thats the other guy...the guy in the white shirt

  • umm it would be decent if you put in some faster choreography and alot less running around. pretty good effects though, il give ya props for that.

  • i agree with this

  • Where do you guys live?? That vista is amazing! Put some cg ships and stuff back there and you've got yourself a scene right outa starwars

  • You made people Wait a YEAR for This?

  • LAME

  • What is the music at the begining called?

  • Duel of the Fates from the Episode 3 soundtrack,.

  • y cant they hit each other cmon toughen up haha

  • The effects were good as was the choreography though i think it was a tad slow. Perhaps speed it up after recording or simply do it faster.

  • we tried this, but it looked too fake, even at 105% speed.

  • Guess you just gotta do your fight scenes quicker and try not to hit each other haha.

  • wuts the name of the song wen they started to turn on their lightsabers? anyways i saw sum dude in the back wen the double saber guy started to run o.,o lolz. anywatys cool video dude

  • Good solid choreography! Nice lightning as well! 5/5

  • I did knoticed that the soundeffects for the light saber was a bit off but other then that the fighting and choreography were great. I think they did a great job. though it did seema bit heard to fight on that rocky terran there. Quary waht happen to kyle we don't see him donw there so does he come back to fight another day? here great job guys :)

  • You might not be able to tell, but that end shot was actually looking down over about a 2000 foot cliff. However, when we originally filmed, we filmed a second duel at the bottom as brandon was leaving, where kyle reappeared, injured, but still wanting to duel. We cut it because it was really badly done, and I didn't have the time to edit it as well.

  • it blended together very nicely though made it look like he had fallen down to his death. though it does leave an open spot to it later if you do chose to have him reapear. NIcely done. I give it a 5 star and 10 on my rating very good :) love the music with the vid :)

  • I mixed it up a little myself.

  • sweet ust he right mix and you have a great vid :) would love to see more of them. You and your firends should think of going into making movies :)

  • Not bad, the saber sounds were off, but great effects and decent choreography.

  • Where was this filmed at?

  • read the credits.

  • to bad it wasnt longer nice effects though 5/5

  • As someone else commented, a fast scene= more adrenaline.

Shooting shots in slow mo then increasing their speed after layering on the lightsabre glows would make it much nicer to watch.

Though, it is something nice to watch.

  • Doing that creates an incredibly unrealistic and visual uneven effect, and it's very noticable. It doesn't work properly, trust me on that.

  • Due to the glows blurring and not appearing straight as they should? Interesting, I had not thought on that. Thanks for your feedback.

  • we tried that on a newer film we filmed. Their motions just don't seem fluid and the movements aren't realistic in the followthroughs. It just looks...funny to watch. The saber effects really look fine, and the glow blurring can easily be edited, it's just the actual physical movement and environment interaction. If we had done that on this film, you would've seen some really unrealistic rock movement around their feet when they move.

  • Ah, I understand now. It really would be unrealistic if you see a seemingly normal paced scene and a cloud zips by and top speed in the background.

  • exactly. It wouldn't matter so much inside, but you would have to be extremely accurate in your movements. Even when I tried adjusting a clip's speed to 105%, it looked really bad.

  • why do people always leave the corpses of their dead companions at the end of a video?

  • ouch $500 ?! was that just to use the campsite for two days?

  • Well for that, food, gas, and props.

  • Video-making friggin' expensive isnt it lol... :\

  • very good, although i think the lightsaber moves could of been a little faster, good apart from that though.

  • the guy at 3:28 looks HK

  • HK?

  • Good stuff!

  • good job!!!

  • not bad but it does look pretty fake like slo-mo'ed and that they keep breaking off and turning their backs to eachother which = death

  • Not good fighitnhg, but its like idk a bunch of star warsgeeks fighting, and trying to be cool, thats wat makes this riocks, i have been so pumped for thi, and wit was worth it

  • FINALLY!!! WOW

  • Nice Job! The people in the background at 1:35 and 3:05 made me laugh. The choreography and editing weren't perfect but the effects looked pretty good. Unfortunately I don't think youtube does it justice, and I'd love to see a higher quality version, perhaps on vimeo. Keep up the good work!
