thats Nate Patterson from The Receiving End Of Sirens. I was just looking at pictures of his, on his facebook, and just saw and remembered this video.holy crap!!
Yeah, this version live is pretty sick. I love how Thrice can take their own songs and throw a twist on them and make them almost an entirely new song. Riley kills it...
i have watched a few live videos of this song on youtube, and this one is the best i've seen. best sound, with regards to band sound and lack of excessive crowd sound. i saw them play this live at my school last year and it completely changed my feelings towards the song. used to just think it was a pretty jingle filling space on the album, but now i'v seen how powerful it can be.
This has become one of my favorite Thrice songs because of this version. It's such a great testament to Thrice as musicians that they can recognize a song that wouldn't do well live and add instrumentation to turn into something completely different, but with the same spirit. Grats guys!
So I opened a bunch of these at the same time (ctrl + K) And they all played at different times and it sounds amazing. Still. Even all jumbled up.

Hey is the date on the title of the video just a typo or is it like 1-19-10?

I was there! Still an amazing show even without Teppei.

Dude...this version is awesome omg. I love the original, but with Riley's drums, it makes it that much better. Gahd I love this band.
