Russian Ballet has always been the best. And, it always will be.

It's gorgeous because it's the Russian Ballet, yes, and I hate to say it, but am I the only one a tiny disappointed at the lack of synchronization at some parts :S ?

You would think that with their reputation it would be flawless..

@tttdrop low life's? I'm sure you couldn't lean this in 5 years! real tutu's cost about $15000 and you say low life's! let alone Russian ballet camps about $30,000 a week! I'd be surprised if you made that in a year!

This video is wonderful for many reasons. First, The Nutcracker is a wonderful ballet composed and created by a wonderful composser "Tchaikovsky!!!!!! :D Second the Mariiinsky theatre is superb. The third which I find the most touching about this video is the opening of the ballet. The outside look of the theatre, the man who looks like snape at 0:06 Gotta love Snapeus... :-) Then the group of happy looking girls and their prettyy outsider friend in the middle and then the group of teenage boys

I love this scene, I remember doing it. I have been dancing since age 3, couldn't participate in the Nutracker this year though because I am pregnant. Will go back to ballet in 1-2 years! Thanks for posting, miss those pointe shoes!
