I agree with you about the sense of dread in this film. I thought it was excellent and the scariest part is that I can see it happening! I think that's why the film upset me so much. The peer pressure and vicious cycle aspect of these sorts of people is very frightening; I found it absolutely brutal and actually almost threw up/passed out at two points whilst watching it. Shocking stuff. Great review, Scott!

oh and the french film you was thinking about is called "them" very good film also, but not as good as eden lake imo.

Yeah I felt really wierd after it finished. Especially after the strong message at the end. Its just one of those films that makes you feel uncomforatble the whole way through

Yeah its not the nicest film to watch alone. Turgoose is good in it but I wish he'd been in it more.

Lol yeah the kid from skins! :D I've watched alot of good british horror movies lately, another I watched was "Mum and Dad" I was tempted to review it but I went with the one with the kid from skins instead :D
