I like this trailer much more than the original. It really shows the chaotic world that Theo lives in which is such an important part of the movie. The original represents the movie as only being about the journey but it is also about how many people have given up hope, hence the social reform and the corrupt government. Great job on representing a great film!

the reference to I robot was only to compare special effects, not script , direction or anything else. I Robot is a popcorn flick, is not Citizen Kane.

I made that reference because this movie has been praised for its special effects.

What i find most stupid about it is that it makes a big deal about certain event and then never shows you the consequences.

Also, not everyone goes to the movies to challange their mind, many people just want simple entertainment to ease the day off their shoulders, which is why they may find Irobot better than Children of men. All preference.

@GODNEEDSASTARSHIP, no i robot is not, im saying that in the places this movie uses special effects , there really is not much need for them since their version of the future is not very impressive , for example why make a digital baby, it made no sense. Thats what im saying about the effects in the movie, the movie itself is a cinematic enema.

well seems like whats gonna happen here in the USA or what they are doing we are a bunch of Guinea pigs. They dont do long term testing of GMO foods and just pass this foods and sale them in the market it gonna make all of us sterile from what independent research has seen if u dont believe me look at many of the side effects of GMO foods

november 2010, i just found out this movie is suppose to be good, well is number 2 in my list of worst movies of all time right after beowulf. So predictable, boring, slow, monocromed and silly. Is has awards for special effects but i didnt see anything beyond what i saw in movies like equilibrium and the moments when it did have great special effect i didnt see a need for them at all, like, the movie is in the future but, is not minority report or i robot, is more like equilibrium's future.

in my opinion i say yes cuz i saw this movie last nite on AMC channel. & it was a really good movie to watch. cuz it makes u think real hard about life itself wat if every women all over the world all of suddenly stop infertility cant get pregnant at all, without no explaination. the world would be chaos, madness everywhere just like da movie. cuz without babies theres is no more us. we go extinct. but the ending kill me lol cuz it was sad & mess up in my opinion.

Really unique movie with brilliant story line, acting, truthful scenes. Clive Owen, Julianne Moore, Clare-Hope Ashitey, Pam Ferris and Michael Caine were fantastic. This movies deserved at least 5 Oscars!!!
